The place is pretty small and typical of most pizza places, lacking ambiance but does offer dine in.
We ordered a cheese pizza, which was pretty quickly baked and served, and some chicken wings with garlic. DH ordered a beer, which came bottled with a chilled mug. Soda was self-serve, but we weren't aware of it, and I waited. Hubby inquired at the counter, where you place your order, and he was then told it was self serve.
The wings were cooked pretty crisp, which we like, but next time we'd order buffalo. There was plenty of chopped garlic but was probably from a jar, since it lacked the aromatic essence of fresh garlic. When I asked for some hot sauce, I received an ample supply in a little plastic cup.
The medium pizza was large enough for the two of us. The crust was nice and thin, but not particularly crisp, which is how we would have preferred it. It was also a bit dry, and would have benefited from more sauce on it. It was satisfactory, though we had to season it with parmesan, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper, to bring out some taste.
The bill came to around $20.00, which is very reasonable for two adults to eat. They had an assortment of the usual Italian subs all at around the $5.95 rate.
I would recommend getting a take out order and driving to the nearby jetty to enjoy your casual meal al fresco. It really isn't a relaxing type of restaurant, but would be fine for takeout.
They were quite busy with take out orders which were phoned in.
So nothing to write home about, but ample and no surprises. Staff was courteous.
