Description: The Original Tiki Bar & Restaurant was built in early 1990 at the Fort Pierce City Marina. The Tiki Bar, as it is affectionately known, soon became a favorite destination for those in search of great food and drinks, all served in a tropical setting.Situated on the banks of the Indian River, the Tiki Bar boasts open-air dining under an authentic Tiki thatched roof. In August of 1998, the Lloyd family acquired the Tiki Bar and continues to operate the restaurant to this day. Carrying on the tradition that started in 1990, the Tiki Bar continues to offer excellent tropical fare in an atmosphere that will make you feel as though you are in the islands. Come to the Tiki Bar whereby . . . We overlook nothing . . . But the beautiful Indian River.

We got here by boat, and had drinks and chips and salsa the first night. Nothing to special about the chips. Good drinks.. The 2nd night we came for the Friday Prime rib dinner & 2 sides for $22. It was great. It was cooked with rosemary and wonderful flavor! Again the drinks were good, they have specials and that night it was Confusion.. Highly recommend this! Also had the bacon & Swiss dip with crackers , very yummy ! The third day we went back for dinks and appetizers and listened to the steel drum music...We had the Swiss dip again, it was so good the first time we had to do it again.. The service was great, thanks in part to Heather and her sister. They were our servers when we were there. Very friendly employees....Will be going back again..

Had been here many times in the past when we lived in Fort Pierce and was always pleased with the service and food, not so this time. Wife and I were looking forward to some fritters and fish sandwiches - usually a good choice from a "Tiki Bar". Menu actually stated that the fish sandwiches were priced at "market value". What? You're kidding me? Anyway ordered it (only choice was Mahi). The fritters were $10, prices it appears had gone up. Order arrived after about 40 minutes. Fish sandwich was below standard fare, small piece of fish a with tomato, a pickle and cold (not warm) average fries. The $10 order of fritters included 6 fritters that were very under cooked. Lunch bill? The market value fish sandwich was $17. Who are they kidding?? Never again.

Overall food was not great. Coconut shrimp had more breading than shrimp and was way overcooked. Burgers just ok. Not the best quality of food. View is nice of the Atlantic and girls liked feeding the fish, but go for drinks and atmosphere, not the food.

Bring back the Cuban Sandwiches. So sad to see they are still off the menu. Still a fun place to eat. Take a stroll along the water!

Typical TiKi Bar experience. Average food. Average (however very friendly) service. We do a halfway meet up with our friends from Vero. The staff doesn't rush us, and gives us time to talk and enjoy being outside, close to the water. It's not gormet, but heck who cares.... it's a TiKi Bar, the sun's up, and we live in paradise. Average for a TiKi bar, is a good thing!
