Description: The Original Tiki Bar & Restaurant was built in early 1990 at the Fort Pierce City Marina. The Tiki Bar, as it is affectionately known, soon became a favorite destination for those in search of great food and drinks, all served in a tropical setting.Situated on the banks of the Indian River, the Tiki Bar boasts open-air dining under an authentic Tiki thatched roof. In August of 1998, the Lloyd family acquired the Tiki Bar and continues to operate the restaurant to this day. Carrying on the tradition that started in 1990, the Tiki Bar continues to offer excellent tropical fare in an atmosphere that will make you feel as though you are in the islands. Come to the Tiki Bar whereby . . . We overlook nothing . . . But the beautiful Indian River.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for drinks and appetizers. Really enjoyed the conch fritters, peel and eat shrimp and clam chowder. Nice location and good service. I would stop in again next time we are passing through.

Excellent restaurant, food and service. Great ceviche and tuna nachos. We frequent this establishment. It's right on the river and has a beautiful view. It's a place for people of every background to gather and enjoy beach living. Highly recommended!!!

I have been to this place a year ago and thought I'd give it another chance. At first glance it appears to be a fun place to have a drink for happy hour. However, the view of the Bay is now scarred by a dredging operation. The happy hour food was barely edible. We ordered bacon wrapped shrimp and chicken poppers. The shrimp was overly deep fried with out a shred of moisture. The chicken was gristly tough cuts with again no moisture left. The pricing of sandwiches and entrees is high for the area. Oh, and a year ago I had warm bad oysters and an overdone burger.

We visited twice this year as it was my father-in- law's favorite bar in Ft. Pierce. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. They're used to groups and make accommodations. Live music some night. Appeared to be more a middle-aged clientele. Food was typical for a Florida bar : lots of fried fish but they had salads too that we're quite good.
