Description: We're serving real food, with genuine hospitality in a building built in 1929 -- a true Fort Pierce original! Our owner's from New York, and our menu brings together classic American Bistro dishes with a fresh, inventive twist. Best of all, guests can explore 45 different craft beers on tap and discover the perfect pairing for their entree. We even offer a different special or event every day of the week, like Ladies' Night on Saturdays and our Monday all-you-can-eat fish fry, so it's always a good time to stop by!

At dinner we sat on the outside deck, which was relaxing and had a wonderful breeze from the water. Dinner was excellent and the prices on the menu were not over priced. They also have bar specials, the Saturday we were there the beer was 2 for 1 and after 9 the drinks for ladies were only $1. Came back for lunch and this time sat inside to escape the humidity. Once again the food was great and not overpriced. The waitress and waiter we had were pleasant and friendly.

The best compliment I can give is that the 2nd Street is almost as good as their Stuart Bistro location.

Bar area is casual yet refined and spacious enough to relax at even when crowded. Plenty of options to choose from at the bar, including a diverse beer menu. The dining atmosphere is equally enjoyable and well laid out... same goes for the patio area which is very enjoyable to drink or dine at.

My meals have always been well prepared and served timely and properly. The menu is simple yet eclectic and offers something for everyone. My last few meals have been fish entrees and all have been delicious and fresh tasting. Quality, price & atmosphere all blend inside in the bistro perfectly....Great vibe in here and a welcome new addition to the culinary explosion that is going on in downtown Fort Pierce.

Out for a walk of fort pierce waterfront and came to 2nd st bistro. Great choice. Food was excellent, value was very affordable and service was fantastic. Would definitely suggest reservations in the 5-6 pm area as the Theater is down the stret and they were very busy.Would go back.

We were 2 couples stopping for happy hour drinks and some lite food. We loved the antique decor inside and the view from the back deck area. One of us had fried green tomatoes which were dry and bland, with not enough sauce to help the taste. Another got the huge fancy nacho platter and the cheese sauce was cold, cold, cold (and also an unappetising color). The baked brie was great with a lovely selection on the plate. The beer cheese soup offered that day was very good also. All our drinks were refreshingly cold, very reasonably priced. This was a Friday around 4:30 (pre Friday Fest activities) so not sure what caused the problem was with half of our four selections since they were not that busy yet. I will try food again sometime in the future but my companions may only go there to drink and socialize if at all. Oh, and the very skinny pilsner type glass they use for a Bloody Mary is really NOT appropriate for such a drink and we hope they change that before next visit.
