We were pleasantly surprised by Heathcote Botanical Gardens. My husband and i enjoy quirky and natural settings. Heathcote was small, but surprisingly full of fun things to see. They have a community garden, a pioneer house replica, and the largest Bonsai collection in America (not sure if this is factual, as it came from the nice lady at the desk). It has a quiet little spot with a pretty little lake and mini rock waterfall. Watch out for mosquitos - ask the desk receptionist for some repellant if it's warm and muggy out - as the mosquitos are FIERCE. All in all - this was a great way to spend an hour.
