Prior reviews had listed this spot as “between two boatyards.” This is not true and it really confused us. Tent camping had nice areas with grass and some had electric and water available. All new and modern RV hookups. Wi-fi excellent with no bandwidth restrictions. Transponders all over the park. The staff is friendly and some live on site. The owner came to greet us when we came in and was very helpful with directions and recommendations for our next campground. The bathrooms had been newly remodeled and were kept clean and stocked. Two bathrooms on site, each with a toilet, sink, and shower. Guests are provided with a bathroom key which opens the door and a separate keyed deadbolt kept the bathroom private. The owner also told us he is looking into kamping kabins on the property. A++ review on this site nothing negative. All amenities are available offsite in a mini mall right next door. Publix market, Family Dollar, CVS market; Chinese food and New/York style Italian pizzeria for dine in or delivery. Public beaches are located within 3 miles. Shuttle to beach and town is available, also free parking a the beach. we tented/van camped and had a great time

Room Tip: this is a great travel through campsite if you are looking for the a place to lay your head and have no worries

The best comparison I can make about this RV Park is with a down-home friendly bed and breakfast. The hosts are genuinely glad to see you and do everything they can to accommodate your interests. They were gracious and helpful, suggesting restaurants, boat ramps, best places to see manatees- and that was on the first five minutes! If you are looking for a resort, this isn't for you, though you'll think you are in a one when you use the Italian tiled shower suite with private toilet. Being a Floridian I can tell you that this park is in the best location possible to take advantage of the best the real Florida has to offer. We cruised in our speedboat from barrier island to beaches; to a manatee canal to oceanfront parks. The place has location, hospitality and the most upscale -and private!- bathrooms ever found in an RV park.

This is a very family-friendly, clean RV park. The owner, Barry, and the managers Wendy and Dave go out of their way to make this a great place to stay. It attracted me and my husband how welcoming they all were.
We stayed here for over 6 weeks. This park is very close to Hutchinson Island and some of the nicest beaches in Florida. It amazed me how quiet the RV park is at night. Now you will hear road noise because it is close to US 1, and you will hear a train whistle in the distance at night, but neither bothered us. The people were very quiet and respectful of other travelers. the park is very busy, so reservations in advance are necessary. They have nice bathrooms with showers, laundry facility with a treadmill, a gas grill, and a dog park. Of course along with the hook-ups for water and sewer, free wireless and cable with more channels than just the basic. I never used this service, but they will drive you to sights around the area such as the Saturday morning farmer's market, grocery store and the beaches and parks by just asking.
The management and staff were very accomodating when we took our rig in and out and used it as our "home base" while in south Florida. I couldn't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness. Also when we would leave for a weekend we felt our RV was safe and secure because Barry lives on the property and he keeps an eye on who is coming and going and if a car is outside he doesn't recognize he will go out and question it. I recommend staying here above any other RV park in the area.Trust me, you will not regret it.

We were here one night on our way to the Keys. But we'll be back for a longer visit! The parking area is clean and dry; there was landscaping on the sites; there is a perfectly clean and good sized dog park too! The office gives you as you check in a comprehensive list of interesting sights in the area. Dave, the manager, works enthusiastically to make this place as perfect as possible for travelers!

This was a very nice little RV Park. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered to take us to the grocery store so we did not have unhook our rig. It was very clean and easy to get to.
