everyone goes here. It doesnt matter if you are 2 or 102. Life on the treasure coast is defined by one thing. "have you been to Archies yet" If you have-then you live here, if you haven't then you must be passing through. We take my family here whenever they come to visit. When I talk to them back home, they ask about Archies like its part of the family. The food is simple and tasty, the staff is friendly. there is usually a band playing something. You may get sunburnt, you may get rained on, you may even get pulled into a tattoo contest, but you will always have a good time at Archies. Like the sign says, warmed by the sun, cooled by the ocean breeze since the 1940's

We've been going here for over 10 years. It's a great place to hang out, have a cold beer, and some food. If you are looking for fine dining, this is not it. See 12a buoy. If you want a good burger, wings, atmosphere, etc, this is the place. Anytime I go, there is wide range of people, from elderly to bikers to kids. I don't understand the expensive drinks comments....they only serve beer and wine. Pints are under 5 and pitchers are 15(I think). We've hosted multiple private parties in the back area and always got great food and service. Is there bike nights? Yup. They also host church service on Sunday. Seriously. Never had a bad experience here. Sit back and enjoy!

Good food, live music, true "old Florida" beach atmosphere, live and let live, have a good time. The staff is friendly and helpful, the ambience is wood decks and bright paint with some outside art hanging around, mobiles, statues, (one of a pirate), it feels like fun from the moment you walk in. The menu is bar food, but good bar food. They serve an excellent hamburger, but my favorite is the grilled mahi-mahi caesar salad. Delicious, fresh, and they will blacken the fish if you like. Juicy, not dried out. They have the usual fries, cole slaw, sandwiches, and some very good key lime pie. Plan to linger, this is not a quick in and out. It's right on A1A, great place to enjoy an afternoon or an evening with friends.

It's over priced! Two people at lunch with just tea to drink for around $40. The bartender, Rocco, is a real joke. Fake nice, sarcastic, abrasive and prides himself on being the best "beertender" in the county. The Cuban sandwich was hard. The fried pickles were spiced with what would be arsenic. The pulled pork was decent, but the fries were horrible. Everyone there thinks they are a pirate. It's hot, get a mist machine or some fans. Too many loud bikers who should keep it down for the other patrons. The owner, Patty, could have a lesson in manners. Our server, Ashley, was great, though.

We pass this place a lot on the way to our favorite beach spot and finally left time to stop for a bite to eat and a beer afterwards. We, of course, sat outside where there were loads of other people sitting around listening to live music from a guy with a guitar and harmonica...that was about it. He played well but singing left a bit to be desired if I were there just to listen to him...BUT, he did a great job playing songs that people knew and most people were singing along. You're going to find a lot of bikers enjoy this place, families and beach bums. It feels like home. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and very good at their jobs. All we got to eat was an order of french fries as we had dinner plans a couple of hours later and didn't want to spoil dinner but we will surely be going back here and this is another place we'll be happy to take our company visiting from out of state. When people visit, they want to see "beachy" places and tiki hut bars on the beach...although this one is across the street from the beach, it's still close enough and a place we can go after spending time on the beach...I went with my swimsuit and cover-up, wet hair tucked inside a baseball cap, flip flops etc. and fit in just fine with what most of the other people were wearing. Loved this place & highly recommend it. No air conditioning or white table cloths here though so if that's what you're looking for, keep looking. Come here to relax and enjoy yourself.
