“report card grade - C”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

We had lunch on a Monday with two delicious Yeunling drafts. I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. The fries were quite good, the sandwich was good but had too much fat in the pulled pork. My wife had the grilled cheese with a tomato slice. She was disappointed that the tomato was not ripe. The sweet potato fries were good. The waitress was not friendly and didn't even check on us or ask how our food was, but I still gave her an above average tip - probably shouldn't have. There were several other restaurants in the beach causeway area that are closed on Monday's that we wanted to check out. Sandwiches were $9 each drafts were $3 each.

We took a ride down to jetty park to see the water and decided to walk into this little restaurant. Prices were pretty reasonable we both ordered soft tacos, chicken and ground beef. The presentation of our meals was impressive and the taste was phenomenal. $21.00 for two iced teas (fresh and tasteful) and two complete meals.

“Great place for lunch”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

This is a fairly small, casual, comfortable restaurant very close to the Fort Pierce Inlet and beach. They have a nice bar with a full selection of liquors and a small, but well thought out, draft beer selection. We both ordered the Pork Tacos which came with a side of black beans and rice but you can substitute several other choices, I chose cole slaw. The dish came with two tacos and they were wonderful, made with plenty of smoked pork and a few other ingredients. The cole slaw came in a real dish, not one of those tiny sauce containers, and it was just the way I like it -- coarsely chopped but not to small, and crunchy. The sauce was a sweetened mayonnaise and the cabbage was just covered but not smothered. We haven't eaten there for dinner but we definitely plan to.

“Great location, okay food”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

The location is awesome - right on the beach next to the Fort Pierce Inlet. Being on the ebach, this restaurant is pretty laid back and casual. The decor has a cute beachy theme. There are surfboards and other surfing paraphernalia throughout. The food is alright. I've had the fish tacos a few times and a burger a couple times. I've been there and had pretty good food and had so-so food, so I guess it just depends. The prices aren't bad, especially considering what their rent must be right there on the beach. Go here if you want an easy bite to eat when you're around South Beach in Fort Pierce.
