We stayed here one night the day after New Year's because we were taking the ferry from Fort Meyers to Key West. We had an upper floor condo with the most fantastic view, 2 BR and beautifully furnished for $450 a night. The section of beach here is unbelievably clean with soft white sand. The reservation process was confusing- I thought I had made a reservation for the DiamondHead property a little to the north which is also owned by SunStream. The rooms are very similar but overall nicer. (This may have been because I made the reservation at the last minute on Christmas Eve and was unable to speak with them.) It was really beautiful- usually I stay in budget places or lodges that are expensive because of remote locations. If you want a place that is beautifully put together in a conventional way with nice amenities, this is it. The DiamondHead property is quite similar, a little less expensive, on a section of beach that is great, but this beach had white crystalline sand.

Dear Klrklr,
Thank you very much for staying with us. Sorry for the booking issue when trying to choose our DiamondHead Beach Resort property, but were are glad you enjoyed your stay! We are located on the quieter side of the island and yes our sand is amazingly soft and white, keeps your feet cool! We hope you had a good time on the Key West Express very as well. Thank you again for staying with us and we hope to see you back in the future!

Sincerely,
Randy Kares - General Manager

Recently stayed at Pointe Estero August 2013. Reserved 3 condos for our family. The resort is wonderful. The condos are beautiful, the views are fantastic. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, blenders etc. Washer and dryer in unit. Grills available in pool area. The resort and condos are VERY CLEAN. Many shops, restaurants and other grocery/alcohol stores are within walking distance or the trolley service. Trolley runs every 40 mins up and down the island. We did not need a rental. Stay on 5th floor or above with gulf view.

Dear Klhughes55,
Thank you very much for staying with us at Pointe Estero Beach Resort. I'm excited to hear you and your family had a great time and the suites had everything you needed. We try and make our guests feel as if they are at their home away from home. The Fort Myers Beach trolley is a big benefit for our guests, with a stop right outside the resort, you don't have to worry about rental cars or a taxi. Thank you again and we hope to see you back real soon!

Sincerely,
Randy Kares - General Manager

We have stayed at Pointe Estero many times over the years and have enjoyed every stay. The units have all have balcony s from the living room the master bedroom and the guest room all over looking the beach. Pointe Estero is at the South end of Estero Island so there is a lot less traffic and the beach isn't crowded and yet there is a strip mall with good food within walking distance and a movie theater a short drive away.

Room Tip: All the units have great views but the higher up the better the view. (Point Estero has 16 floors)

Dear Gerald M,
Thank you very much for staying with us over the years. I'm happy to hear you had another great experience at Pointe Estero Beach Resort. Yes, we also think our location on the south end of the island is a great asset. It's quiet, has great restaurants and it's easy to get to the north end if you need to. Plus we are on the widest stretch of sand on the beach! Thank you again and we hope to see you back soon.

Sincerely,
Randy Kares - General Manager

You can imagine my surprise upon check-in when told we were upgraded at no additional cost. It's only scratched the surface of the fabulous weekend we had. Our room and our friends room (different angel) both had a panoramic view of the water. If you sat in a chair not facing a window or sliding glass door, there was a mirror strategically placed so every seat had an awesome view! Attention to detail is magnificent in this resort. You won't regret it.

Room Tip: Let them know up front if traveling with friends.

We love this place! We've stayed there the last two years, and it's been perfect both times. It's super clean, the employees are polite and helpful, and the view from the balcony is awesome. The rooms have everything you need, and it's like a home away from home. So comfy and relaxing! We love, love, LOVE this place. We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: The beach view is worth it.
