This hotel is great. It's close to shops and restaurants and has a very nice beach area. The staff take great pride in the property. The pool is cleaned every morning, the lawn furniture is arranged and wiped down, as well. It is very well maintained. For years, our vacations were spent on the East coast, but we are spending more and more time on the Gulf side due to the B.W.P.B.R., Ft. Myers. It's just a real nice place to relax.

The Best Western plus is amazing. Every single room is ocean front with the most beautiful views of the Gulf. It's also a short walk to the pier, most restaurants and a 7-11. The rooms are spacious and well designed and the housekeeping and staff were amazing. My friend and I took a girls trip over a long weekend and were not disappointed. By having their own private beach it is never crowded and you don't have to fight for a spot. It's peaceful and beautiful and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Fort Myers. I will say though, that if you are renting a umbrella/chairs from the little booth on the Best Western Beach, ensure you ask at the front desk what the price should be. The first day they charged $21.20 and the second day a different guy tried to charge me $25.45

Room Tip: All rooms are oceanfront, but try for a higher floor to see over the palm trees.

Every room faces the Gulf of Mexico! We were on the top (5th) floor and the room was very quiet at night for 4 days over the July 4th weekend and had a great view of the pier and beach. We had a room with two double beds for 2 adults and 2 teens. Enough space for us, but we don't spend much time in our room besides sleeping. All rooms have kitchenettes. Ours had a full-size refrigerator with ice cube trays (there are also ice machines in the hallway), 2-burner ceramic cook top, microwave, dishes, silverware, pans, plastic cups, single-cup coffee maker, plastic bowls with lids, cooking utensils including sharp knives, colander, dish soap, dish cloth and dish towel, and a dish drainer. There was a bar-size sink in the kitchenette and counter seating with two stools. There were two chairs and a small table on the balcony. In-room safe. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap. Comfortable beds with soft sheets and great pillows. Complimentary towels available in the lobby for beach/pool use. Complimentary coffee available all the time. Breakfast is included: Belgian waffle maker with regular or blueberry batter, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy some days, sausage, bacon, variety of breads and a toaster, muffins and pastries, milk, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, instant grit and oatmeal packets to mix. We had no problem finding something to eat for breakfast! Pool is clean, ranges in depth from 3-6 feet and has lounge chairs and some tables with umbrellas and chairs. The patio/grassy area has nice tables with seats and Adirondack chairs as well as a shuffle board and covered seating areas. If you want to use the grill, the staff will get it ready for you and provide you with grilling tools, too! Super-friendly staff from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance! Computers in lobby area to check flights and print boarding passes. WiFi works great. Location is fantastic! Close to the Times Square restaurant and shopping area and Pier (5 minute or so walk), and Bowditch Point Park (15-20 minute walk). Chairs and umbrellas for rent on the beach (very worth it!) and lots of water sport possibilities from the same outfit. Beach has fine, soft, white sand, and the ocean is shallow for quite a ways out and didn't have a lot of rough surf. Free parking.

Room Tip: First floor has sliding doors to the outside and higher floors have balconies.

My family stayed at the Best Best Western Plus for four days this past weeken. From the moment we checked in, until the time we checked out, everything was as close to perfect as it could be. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room was on the third floor and the view was amazing! I loved waking up every morning to the beautiful Gulf and watching the most beautiful sunsets each night. The room was a little small, but who really wants to stay in the room very often when there is the beautiful beach just a few hundred feet away! I also liked the fact that the room was tiled instead of carpeted, had a full-size refrigerator and a kitchenette. Everything was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice, albeit also a bit small, but again, we were there for the beach, so the only time we really utilized the pool was for my 6 year old and he didn’t seem disappointed at all. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had at any hotel. I liked that we could make our own waffles and the sausage gravy was delicious. There was the typical continental items, eggs, bacon, sausage, danishes, muffins, etc., and everything was fresh and plentiful. My son really enjoyed Coco, the Amazon Parrot. We were excited to hear her talk before we left, and my son always wanted to stop and take her picture. Overall, this hotel will be our go-to hotel when visiting Fort Myers Beach. It’s within walking distance to Times Square, which is another plus, and the price for an oceanfront room was much better than anything we could find in Clearwater! Kudos to the staff at Best Western Plus Fort Myers Beach for making our stay for my birthday weekend nothing short of perfection!!

Room Tip: As others have said....try and get a room on Floors 3 through 5 for the best views!

The hotel is conveniently located on the beach side, near shops and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are all oceanfront with balcony and include kitchen (full size fridge and stovetop). The room was clean, comfortable and pet-friendly! The pet fee wasn't too high like other hotels so I was extremely impressed. I highly recommend this spot if you and your furry family member are traveling together and want to spend a wonderful time at the beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach behind the hotel.
