Generous portions of boiled potato pierogies and crisp potato pancakes, served with apple sauce and sour cream, transported me back to my Polish grandmother's rowhouse kitchen in Pennsylvania. Some in our party enjoyed meat dishes - there is no shortage of hearty choices on the menu. No meal here would be complete without the homemade apple struedel. For a change of pace, I had the imported plum streusel this time, which was a real treat. Good coffee, too! The server was attentive and the bill seemed small compared to the amount of food on the table. I will be back. Soon!
