We saw this restaurant was ranked #2 at Fort Myers Beach so we thought this was going to be a treat. Derrick was our waiter and he was fantastic, his suggestion to have the lamb was right on and his presentation of the desserts was fun. I had the lamb and it was excellent, unfortunately, I can not say the same for the Ahi tuna that my wife had. It was covered in wasabi which should have been a clue that the tuna was not that fresh, in fact it was not good at all!! The bread pudding was great but considering we paid $180 for our meal, which included a moderately priced bottle of wine, the tuna made the meal disappointing!

On February 27th my wife and I enjoyed another outstanding dining experience at Fresh Catch Bistro. This restaurant has earned it's right to stake a claim as the top fine dining establishment on Fort Myers Beach. The hostess, Cristina and our servers Susan and Chris were outstanding. The seafood selection was extensive and was cooked to order perfectly. Fresh Catch sits right on the beach overlooking the gulf and the decor is perfect for the location. Needless to say we will be back!

We had dinner at Fresh Catch mid week on Presidents week. The service was top notch, the food was delicious, and the view was beautiful. This was one of the best dinners we have ever had. To top all of that off, we had a bottle of wine plus a glass of wine to pair with dinner, two appetizers, two dinners, coffee, and dessert and the total bill was under 200 dollars. Great value! Also, I really appreciated that after the sun went down and there was a bit of a chill in the air, the deck heaters were turned on.

This restaurant is right on the beach with both indoor and outdoor dining, all facing the lighted beach. Our party totaled 5 and everyone had a delicious dinner - by far the best (and really the only good dinner) we had while staying 5 days in Ft. Myers Beach. Great wine list. We ate outdoors in a lovely elevated area that was a delight to dine in. The only negative: the gumbo two of us ordered really smelled bad, but the waiter swooped it up as soon as he saw it wasn't eaten and said he wanted it taken off the menu. Without asking, we weren't charged for it. Reservations necessary.

Fresh Catch Bistro sits right on the beach, on an elevated level. Inside and outside seating. White sand beach is illuminated at night, to watch the surf roll in. Very nice wine list, as created by manager/sommelier - Antonio. Many interesting takes on dishes, with seafood the obvious speciality. On most recent visit, service was informed and attentive, without being overbearing. Food was prepared exactly as ordered - seared Ahi tuna. Portions for appetizers, entrees, and desserts are generous.
