Wow! for a new restaurant I am amazed at the number of people, the quality of food and the creativeness of the chef. I tried the appetizer special that the "chef came up with this morning." A spicy mixture of chicken breast, black beans, corn, cheese rolled and cooked egg-roll style artfully and lightly drizzled with sour cream sauce. Not quite full, I ordered a bowl of the soup of the day--another delightful, unique creation for Chuck's version of chicken tortilla soup. Wow again. Never have I enjoyed the spices and seasonings the chef assembled in a soup. Remarkable. This restaurant will be busy "off-season," which is a rarity for any restaurant on Fort Myers Beach. I shouldn't neglect to mention the owner is there ever observant and helpful as well as a joy to talk to. The staff seems overqualified for a Fort Myers Beach restaurant called "Chuck's Last Stop," but their efficiency and polite manners are a warm and wonderful change to what one might expect--much like the food.
