We visited here on a Saturday afternoon in February and could've stayed longer. Yes it is a loud, low-ceilinged dark bar with all kinds of stuff on the walls, but they have a great digital jukebox and cold beer. (Only serve beer and wine.) lots of locals/regulars but the woman bartender was good to us, bringing us beers to our table when we ran low. Also have a few tables outside for smoking and people watching. Nothing fancy and just perfect for a casual beverage. Lots of specials to choose from daily.

This was a bar where the locals hang out. They serve just beer and wine. It's cheap, it's loud, and it's fun. We are from a small town so we had a great time just getting to know others from the island. They had live music on the weekends and a loud juke box other nights.

We are not high class by all means...so our standards are generally on the low side. Especially when it comes to relaxing with a few beers...as long as the beer is cold (it was!), we're good. Doesn't take too much to make us happy! The moment we walked in to the Shamrock, we felt very uncomfortable and out of place. It was about 5pm and it was obvious that everyone else had been there for HOURS. Very dungeon-like. Not welcoming at all. I gave it 2 stars instead of one because maybe it would be an ok place to go if you went with a group of people, and also because the jukebox was ALWAYS going with great music...even when we just drove by you could hear he music. Beer and wine only here...no drinks.

We were there last night. It was noisy and a bit rowdy but the bartender and locals could not have been nicer to us. The beer was cheap, cold and the service could not be faulted.
If you like a boozer with atmosphere and escape the snowbirds, this is the place for you.

Didn't stay there long, but live music and fun people! Drinks were cold too! Great location, situated between several good restaurants!
