Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf goes all out with their theme. However, the basics of adventure golf get lost in the over abundance of detail. The actual play of many of the holes are the same so the putt putt is boring. You tee off from a spot elevated from the hole and tap it down the hill. There is no thought involved. Gravity is the only thing going on. Many times you can't see the hole from the tee so it is a blind shot and you have to hurry down the steps if you want to watch where the ball goes. It was also odd that their "tee mats" aren't fixed to the carpet. They are loose and move around. Many time they seemed out of position and needed to be straightened up before you began the hole. This was also the most expensive adventure we have every played. I don't think it was worth it.
