“Didn't enjoy our round.”

Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf goes all out with their theme. However, the basics of adventure golf get lost in the over abundance of detail. The actual play of many of the holes are the same so the putt putt is boring. You tee off from a spot elevated from the hole and tap it down the hill. There is no thought involved. Gravity is the only thing going on. Many times you can't see the hole from the tee so it is a blind shot and you have to hurry down the steps if you want to watch where the ball goes. It was also odd that their "tee mats" aren't fixed to the carpet. They are loose and move around. Many time they seemed out of position and needed to be straightened up before you began the hole. This was also the most expensive adventure we have every played. I don't think it was worth it.

“Fun but spendy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2014

The place was pretty need and kept up pretty well. I hadn't mini golfed in years but was surprised at the cost ($14/ person). Glad we did it but probably we wouldn't again.

“Great fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2014

We went for the first time, after dinner on our last night of vacation. I thought it was a little pricey at first, but it was worth it. The course is 18 holes, fun and challenging and it was a great family activity. It did seem to get hotter and more humid as the night went on, but it is Florida. We were not captivated by the baby gators in the pool and I'm not sure they add much to the experience, but I suppose the little ones would like them. Better to see them in a more natural environment like the Everglades. There is a mystery hole-in-one, so keep track of your scores. We each managed to sink at least one hole in one (more luck than skill!) and I won the free round of golf, which never expires. We're looking forward to going back next year. The course is clean and well maintained and the music rocks!

“Love smugglers cove”

We go every time we are in Fort Myers. Kids love to feed alligators. Great time for young and old. When its cold the gators don't like to eat though.

“Lots of fun!”

We have played mini golf there many times. It is best early morning or later in the day; otherwise it can get extremely hot. They even have live alligators to view and feed.
