Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

Our waiter tonight was David, very attentive, answered the questions, made sure we were well taken care of.

The food - must try the conch fritters and the gator bites.

The four of us had more than we could eat. The fish sandwich was huge, the crispy grouper was just that, crispy and delicious. The fish bake was amazing. I don't think I have seen a burger that big before.

We have been here 2 years in a row and can say this place is better again.

This is a must do whenat ft myers beach.

Very Good food, good value. You get your money's worth when visiting and the food good also. Nice happy hour and large menu so if you are not into seafood, you will find something. I would definitely return!

My fiance and I have lived down here for a year and a half now and have gone to Nellies on numerous occasions. They have a massive menu but we keep to a few things. Their fish and chips are good and so are their ruben sandwiches. The main reason we frequent here is because of the atmosphere. We always sit outside looking over the harbor and listen to the live music.

That said the service is only sub-par and the hostess (possible owner???) is the rudest, crotchety woman I have ever encountered. Every time we go the hostess tries to push us upstairs to the bar. When we decline and ask to sit outside she doesn't respond, just shoves some papers around, huffs and walks away (at this point we are suppose to follow her.) If she does respond she growls, "Well, you're just going to have to wait then."

Service- The waitresses always end up ignoring us. (We're in our late 20s but probably look like high schoolers to them. To bad for them because we are college grads and always tip 20% for good service.) We'll get our drinks one time and are never offered refills and no one returns except to drop off the food and the check. People bring their dogs to Nellies out on the patio. So, we brought our young boxer with us for lunch.... To bad we had a waitress that was terrified of dogs. She stood a mile away from the table and then ran away. Our dog was sleeping under the table not bothering anyone. She should have just asked for someone else to take over her table instead of give poor service. I'm sure someone else would have taken over our table because many of the servers were stopping by to check out our dog.

If you go just be prepared for terrible service, decent food, and a fun atmosphere.

We had a family of 9 with a reservation for 8pm. The service was pleasant enough, though their Mac and cheese was ordered with a substitution and came out wrong, whether that was the fault of the waitstaff or the kitchen we couldn't tell as the waitress didn't write anything down when taking orders. The menu is HUGE. Which maybe a good thing for large groups with different tastes. We found it a bit overwhelming though. And I wonder how awesome the food might be if they focused on making a few things really well and not so much on quantity. As it is, the food was ok. Nothing horrible, but nothing to write home about either.

This is the second time I have ben in NN in the last month. Last night we walked out after waiting over an hour of Nacho's. We talke to the manager who did not really care that we were unhappy. On the way out we talked to two groups of 6 and told them about the service....they decided to go else where.
