Stayed for 4th of July weekend. Have a great time. We had two rooms, both overlooking the water. 12th floor was perfect for watching the fireworks. You really don't have to leave the resort. Everything is there. What really made our stay though we're the staff, both in the Hotel (Kristi was so accommodating and very professional) and the restaurant. The entire staff at the Restaurant (Flippers) were so much fun and just made you feel like you belong. Chris, Ray, Jay and Jono thanks for the awesome service and special thanks for the chef. We ate there every night and the food was spectacular. We will be back.

Beautiful resort, love the amenities and the food/drink at Flippers were great. Only complaint is the woman who delivered our complimentary breakfast was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The rest of the staff (front desk, etc.) were very friendly and hospitable unfortunately that was not the case with the staff delivering room service.

This resort is what people up north dream about in the winter! Our son gave his Pop this vacation for Father's Day. It was a total delight!! The accommodations dazzled us. We stayed on the 9th floor on the bay side. Floor to ceiling windows gave us a view we will never forget. Imagine watching dolphins and manatees playing in their element while you drink your morning coffee. Watch fishermen and boaters do what they love.
Your own fun includes a fantastic outdoor pool with a waterfall...so refreshing. You'll eat well too. Flippers will fill your tummy with great food and serve it up with a smile. The staff of this place is seamlessly efficient and yet as friendly as your best friend.
The resort's location is nicely secluded from the hustle and bustle of Fort Myers Beach proper but close enough to put you there in minutes should you wish to shop or join the fun it offers. Best of both worlds, I'd say.
I loved the whole thing and only wished I had more time.

We recently stayed for the weekend at this resort and had a very nice time. The woman at the check-in desk was friendly and, even though we were a half hour early, checked with house maintenance to see if our room was ready, which it was. We were given three "towel coupons," with which we could get pool towels, and a certificate for free breakfast for both mornings. The breakfast was limited to several different meals, but covered the basics nicely.

Our room, #305, was well laid out, with a porch overlooking the pool area, restaurant deck and Estero Bay; a nice living room with sleeper sofa; one bedroom and a great bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. If you like people watching and are not annoyed by quite a bit of noise from the pool area, you will like this room. It has beautiful, large windows that overlook everything inside, as well. Personally, if I were to stay here again, I would request a room on the other end of the bay side. Definitely request bay side, as the "gulf side" rooms seemed to have quite a distant view, in my opinion.

The restaurant, "Flippers on the Bay," was very good at breakfast. Even though it was extremely busy on Sunday morning, the staff was able to seat people quickly and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. We did not eat here any other time.

Several things were missing at the resort that made this just above average. There was no documentation in the condo itself, meaning that - if we weren't computer geeks it might have been confusing to someone as to how to connect to the Wi-Fi, there was no "Flippers" menu for possible room service options, there was no tv guide for someone that might want to use that in the bedroom, and there was nothing to point out where the ice machine, vending machine and workout room were located; and the kitchen was not well supplied at all for anyone that wanted to "cook in," which we did on Saturday night (think of the tv show "Chopped"). Bring your own "Chef's Emergency Kit" if you like to cook. :)

All in all, it is a really great time with our family wherever we go, and this resort was a nice play to have that opportunity.

Room Tip: Definitely request bay side, as the "gulf side" rooms seemed to have quite a distant view...

We had a 12th floor suite with a spectacular view. Full kitchen and a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. Best of all were the people who work at the resort. They made our stay memorable, everyone always wore a smile. Kim at the front desk is particularly amazing. She helped make a memory for us. We will be back.

We stayed here overnight to celebrate our 8 year anniversary. After seeing beautiful pictures and reading great reviews, I contacted them via facebook about a summer deal rate I had seen, they replied back to me within a few minutes & I booked later that day. While we did have a small hiccup during the check-in process, the front desk staff Kristi & Eric, were extremely friendly and personable & went above and beyond to get us a room within our preference. We were ecstatic when we found that the person we had contacted through facebook had set aside a couple complimentary drink cards & a free appetizer card for us. It was such a nice surprise and most appreciated by us! (if you are reading this-Thank You!) That started our anniversary off on a great note. We went to Flippers to grab some of the 'buckets of fun' that we had been hearing about & yes they are a must have if you are visiting, we had more than a few during our stay haha. This was a particularly busy weekend here from what I was told, ( with it being summer and father's day weekend ) the pool area Saturday was covered with families, so we decided to take a drive around the island & checkout Fort Myers Beach, which is a cool place full of shops! Sunday morning before we checked out we hung out by the pool for an hour or so it was a lot less busy, loved the waterfall :) Our room was very clean and spacious and decorated nicely. The view was the most relaxing and definitely the highlight of our trip. Truly gorgeous. My only disappointment is that we couldn't stay longer! The excellent staff, large clean accommodations, and breath taking views make this place a perfect getaway!
