“sports bar on the water”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

This is a nice sports bar on the channel behind Ft. Myers Beach-Estero Island. It has 2 different bar areas with water views, is open-air, and has decent food for a sports bar. It's a great place to watch football as one of the bars has 8-10 TV's to find your favorite game.

“Scenic sports bar”
Reviewed December 14, 2013

Want to watch the game but still feel/be outside? This is the place to go. Big Game sits right on the water. You can sit inside and watch a multitude of big screen tvs or out of the deck with slightly smaller tvs. 2 games at opposite ends of the bar are set for sound but all the games are on. Just depends what fan base is there first and largest.

The food choices are better than the average sports bar. They offer the normal fare but there are quite a few fish appetizers/entrees too. We actually ordered the nachos and the pepperoni pizza sticks. HIGHLY recommend the pepperoni pizza sticks. Its quickly fried, so nice and crunchy outside, ooey gooey cheesy inside.

The staff is very efficient, very friendly and patient. This bar draws quite the crowd for NFL sunday football. The prices are very reasonable. Cant beat the scenery even from the inside. Oh and the decor is different in that they have fish on the walls painted up in NFL and college livery. Somehow the Ravens and LSU are painted blue instead of purple but thats the worst thing I can say about this place :-) Glad we went.

“Tasty food, excellent service, sports bar”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

First off, Kat, excellent server, extremely friendly, (well truth is, all the servers seemed very friendly and interacted with their customers making sure everything was just right).

Drinks, stick to beer and wine, mixed drinks are not as good as other places. Seems like a cheap liquor, but the prices, under $5, (cheap is not so bad) paid over $10 other places.

As for the food, one word, YUM! Started off with a loaded salad and wedding soup. Soup was nice and hot and had good flavor.

Dinners, spicy chicken burrito and balsamic chicken were served hot and very quickly in 10 to 15 minutes. Neither my wife nor I could finish there meal, too much. Prices mainly in the $8 to $15 range, but they have a special Sunday and Tuesday, 2 for $25 with salad and one side. We didn't want what was offered so we didn't go in that direction. Look in The Breeze free newspapers for $10 off $30 coupons!!!

“A Real Find”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

Tucked in behind a small marina this place is super. Our bellman recommended it. The menu is fantastic. The wait staff is exceptional ... literally 4 of them came to our table regularly to see if we needed anything. Everyone is smiling, laughing ... a real upbeat ambiance. The venue is like a sports bar but the food is definitely restaurant. Beer is cold, TV's have lots of sports. it's a little loud but that only adds to the experience!!!

“Nice waterfront sports bar”
Reviewed November 16, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I had lunch here during the week. There were just enough tables occupied to keep our server a little busy. All of our food was good. I had a fajita burrito and hubby had a fried grouper sandwich. Portions were large and all cooked as it should have been. We ordered large or tall draft beer however sitting outside they became too warm about half way through. Second round we went for the smaller size.

Big Game sponsors several "state" days (midwestern) during the winter. Good chance for the snowbirds to party, not like they need an excuse...
