Just stopped in for lunch and had a great time! Our server, Kathleen, was absolutely wonderful. We heard about this place from friends who visited recently and we are glad we stopped in. The 4 of us ordered something different and each of us thought our meals were delicious. GREAT PLACE! We are definitely coming back for the daily specials!

“Don't waste your time or money”
Reviewed August 1, 2014

My husband and I had never been to Skye's before, but we were looking for a light afternoon snack of chips, salsa, and margaritas. We decided to try Skye's and boy was that a mistake. Upon walking into the restaurant we were immediately unwelcomed by the bartender. She told us the kitchen was closed due to preparation for dinner menu and could only order salads or appetizers. My husband and I were taken back because we hadn't even passed the door before being told this. My husband and I told the bartender we only stopped in for a few margaritas, chips and salsa. The bartender immediately replied "we don't have that". My husband questioned how a "Mexican" restaurant didn't have chips and salsa. The bartender replied "I told you, the kitchen was closed for dinner preparation". At that point we said thank you and walked out. Thanks to a kind gentleman sitting outside, we were advised to pop into Castaways Bar & Grill and try their salsa made by a Cuban cook. It was to die for and hit the spot. We won't be stopping into Skye's again.

“Not bad”

The food was pretty good. I had the chicken salad BLT. Aside from that, it wasn't anything to write home about, but the food was a decent price.

“SHOULD HAVE PASSED ON THIS ONE!”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

First visit to Skye's as we were looking for good Mexican and we were very disappointed - that said, the margarita was good. The beef enchiladas were really horrible - more like a poor lasagna that wasn't appetizing. The pork burrito and the beef tacos were passable. The biggest disappointment was explaining to not one but two staff the dislike of the enchiladas and receiving no offer of something different, and certainly remained on our bill after only few bites eaten - asking if we wanted a 'to go box' which again led to explaining to the staff the dislike of the dish!
Service was marginal as only one staff when we arrived at the busy time and even told us 'I'm the only one working right now,' and later when joined by another staff the service continued poor. Will not return and very sorry about that since we visit the beach four to five times year staying a month each time - sticking with good food and service at The Fish House!

“Very Good”

Great Food and Great Atmosphere. There is an option of sitting inside or out. The portions are really good sized for the money. Now, its labeled as a Mexican restaurant and it isnt and there is a small selection of mexican food.
