I always preferred staying in Fort Myers Beach because I love the white sand beach, the town has good restaurants and bars,
and is a short drive to Sanibel/Captiva, Lover's Key, Bonita Springs and Naples. After staying at various accomodations in the area,
I determined that I would like to find a location that was within walking distance to Times Square but still
far enough away from the crowds and traffic. I was so pleased to find the Mango Street Inn!

This B&B is tucked away on a very quiet street away one block from the beach.
The Inn offers immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, affordable, comfortable rooms.
Each room has a fully equipped kitchen and living area to lounge out on the couch or comfortable chairs, watch TV, and
wireless internet access.

The Inn is pet friendly and children friendly. Evenwhen children or pets are around the rooms are very quiet.

Our host and hostess, Dan and Tree Andre, are very special people. Having owned and operated restaurants, they know how to
accomodate to people needs and really know how to cook! Breakfast is always a special treat! If you have special dietary needs,
the Andre's are very more than willing to accomodate you in any way they can. HINT: Get Dan to make you shrimp gumbo!
It is to die for!!!

When I am ready to go to the beach, Dan and Tree loaded up a large wagon with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, rafts, tubes, and a
cooler at no charge. They provided us bicycles when we wanted to take a ride on the beach, pick up a few items at the market or
beat the traffic in Times Square.

The Andre's are very proud to be part of the Florida green lodging program.
They work very hard to maintain the Inn to a very high standard. They are also heavily involved in community matters.
It is obvious they care very much about the tourism trade and ecology of the area.

You can pay much more for much less at any of the other accomodations in Fort Myers or can you enjoy this affordable, accomodating and
lovely B&B. For me, The Mango Street Inn has become my home away from home!

Room Tip: Every room has anything you need. The only decision is how many beds you require.

We had the wedding of our dreams because of Tree and Dan. We wanted a simple beach wedding. Once our out of town family found out, they decided that they wanted to be here to share in our celebration. A simple beach wedding turned into a wedding and party for 30 people. Our out of town guests all stayed at the Mango Street Inn. At the Inn, they were all treated to their home away from home. Everyone was thrilled with our choice and raved about the incredible breakfast that they were served every morning. The Mango Street Inn is full of the charm and warmth that surprised our guests. They were treated to southern hospitality at its best!
Tree and Dan took away all of our stress in the planning of the ceremony and reception. We met with them and told them what we would like and left the details in their very talented hands. Tree spent many hours in preparing her ceremony personalized for us. With a painter’s sunset as our backdrop, a gentle breeze with the palm trees swaying above, white sugar sand between our toes and a beautiful heartfelt ceremony, our wedding was perfect.
Dan and Tree took care of everything from planning our menu to the wines that were served. Our guests enjoyed a scrumptious meal prepared by Dan. Everything was incredible. They pay attention to the small things that set them apart. All we had to do was show up and enjoy our party. The greatest compliment to them was said by one our guest, “When I get married I want a wedding just like yours.”
Thank you, Dan and Tree for our wedding of our dreams.

On This trip to Florida we decided to expolore a little bit further and we found a little gem hidden away in Mango Street Inn.
We only Stayed 1 night but could have stayed here for weeks!!!!
Our hosts were fantastic as we sat around sharing wine and chatting away the evening.
The rooms were spacious well presented and very clean.
Breakfast was fantastic, tasty, fulfilling and worlds apart from the churned out food of everywhere else served out on the decking in the morning sunshine.
Dan spent time with my 11 yr old son playing games and entertaining him with parlour tricks.

This is a must stay place if your ever in Fort Myers and I will return someday.

Any Questions or you wish to see more pictures please just ask.

Dan and Tree are wonderful hosts and have made MSI (Mango Street Inn) a fun, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. I love the way they have decorated the rooms, and the patio is great for just relaxing alone or meeting other guests. My friends and I had a great time. I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed at the Mango Street Inn for 3 nights in July for a short getaway. The rooms are appointed with a great eye for comfort, color, and balance. The decked courtyard is complete with a burbling fountain, tropical foliage, a lovely pergola and inviting seating arrangements where guests can mingle. Each day, breakfast is a new culinary adventure to look forward to as Dan is an excellent and creative chef. Both Tree and Dan are very hospitable and readily available to address any needs. Beach paraphernalia and bikes are provided gratis and the beach is a quick jaunt across the street. Tree and Dan Andre have created a perfect haven for relaxation and rejuvenation!

For our first anniversary, I decided to surprise my wife and take her to a bed and breakfast. Now, the Mango Street Inn is a bed and breakfast "style" inn -- meaning, it is a series of little condos or apartments connected by a beautiful open deck, surrounded by greenery and good company. And each morning, owner Dan whips up a delicious breakfast with as much (or little) of his skills with Cajun sauces as you like! This is a getaway that must be experienced to be believed.

The Inn is very close to the beach, and just beyond much of the tourist bustle of FMB. Owners Dan and Tree, two of the most genuine folks we will meet for awhile, have made it their mission to treat you like royalty during your stay with them. Included with your stay is the free use of bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers, and probably more that we didn't need or ask for.

Dan and Tree are also very eco-conscious, and love plugging their guests into the best of the local businesses. Around the property, one can see signs of their efforts to take good care of the earth, including collecting rainwater to maintain the plants (and pet turtles), and pushing for recycling bins on the beaches. As to local businesses, we mentioned to Tree that we wanted to eat at Nervous Nellies for lunch, and in less than 2 minutes she found, clipped, and gave me a 10% off coupon. How many property owners treat you like that?

The Mango Street Inn is a beautiful mix of location, price, amenities, and community. By sharing breakfast (and later, drinks) with Dan and Tree, some other guests, and even some locals who stopped by to enjoy Tree's wine education gifts, we felt like a part of a community. If you choose to stay at the Inn, all we ask is that you enjoy the hard work and passion that Dan and Tree have put into it, and help them keep it going. These kind of places are rare, and we are blessed to have found it! We will definitely plan on returning to the Mango Street Inn when we can get away again!

Room Tip: We stayed in Room #3, with a great King size bed!

We stayed at Mango Street Inn in June and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

There were 10 of us (8 adults & 2 kids) staying in 4 of the suites. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. Dan and Tree and their four legged ambassadors were excellent hosts, taking care of all our needs. It was very hot while there (for us at least), and Dan provided extra fans for the rooms. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, noodles, buckets and spades and bikes available for use by guests.

The courtyard is delightful - a perfect place for he kids to play in the evenings, hunting for geckos! Breakfast is served at a civilised time in the morning in the courtyard.

Mango Street Inn boasts a great location - across the road from the beach, and close enough to the restaurants without being in the middle of the busy area. It was our first visit to the area, and we all fell in love Fort Myers Beach - it is relaxed, the people were lovely, and the beach is gorgeous. Can't wait to go back!
