It started poorly as we arrived early (flights were ahead of schedule). We were two hours early and told that our unit needed to be inspected before we could occupy the condo. Well, two hours later we were told it was ready. I was there the whole time and no one ever inspected it. Strange? Anyway, the unit is spacious enough. Has a very good view (not a 180 degree gulf view like advertised unless you include buildings next door). Nice smaller pool and a resident condo owner will make sure to advise you on all the rules, in case you don't know right away. The unit has great cable TV which is a nice perk. There are no blinds in the kitchen/living room area so privacy at night is lacking. We had a rain storm one night and the ceiling fan in the screened in area was spinning about 500 rpm and the rain was pounding on the large sliding glass doors. Storm shutters should have been accessible to close. Washer and dryer are a nice perk. Coolers were available in the unit as well. There is a DVD player but no movies. The sleeper sofa in the living room is very uncomfortable as we had my daughter sleep on it the first night before she could move to her condo. The bathrooms are a little dated but clean and very nice otherwise. There is a nice dining table for meals or cards. It is overall a very nice unit that needs a little updating and maintenance.
