We (4 adults and 2 children, 8 and 12) were here on New Years Eve night and had a great time. It was around 8pm and they were busy. We put our name on the waiting list and went outside by the statue with the tiki torches to wait. The girls decided to go across the street to the Shipwreck store for some shopping. 35 minutes later we were seated and our server was Brandi.

We got our drinks, ordered appetizers and entrees. Our orders were brought to the table promptly and Brandi gave the children some special attention. The oysters, ginger spice shrimp, beer battered onion rings, blackened mahi mahi, blackened grouper, fried chicken, fish tacos and jerk chicken quesadillas were very good. Yum.

Great place for the entire family. Love the dj and the bands, but THE best is Frank the magician!! We first visited this restaurant December 2009, we came back to Ft Myers this December and our five year old requested we specifically go to this restaurant to see "the magician"! We were so excited to see that the magician was Frank again - he is "so awesome" in the words of our 5 yr old (my husband & I enjoy him too). Great drinks, great food, great entertainment! Expect to wait - it's worth it though!

Man, how can you screw up a margerita? Well, the Yucatan can, man. And whatever they did to the steamed clams should be against the law. It's where the rubber meets the road - yikes! The best thing I can say is they did take the clams off my check.

We've been going to the Yucatan since it opened and it is by far our favorite place to go on the island. The staff is incredible!!! They are so much fun to be around!!! Very uplifting. The manager is on top of his game. As my wife says, "if we ever opened a restaurant we'd steal Steve and take him with us"!! Literally we go there several times a week and have done so since they opened so, though I may feel bad for those who may have had a bad experience, we LOVE IT there. Take it from a couple of regulars... atmosphere is always fun and the food is good. But go there with a good attitude.... don't walk in there waiting to pick apart everything that may not be exactly to your liking. Can't please everyone!

Nothing special here. Too much amazing food in FMB area to eat here. It's not that it was bad, it just wasn't anything I couldn't get a chain restaurant back home. It's always crowded, don't get it. Maybe it's "safe" food for most folks.
