When we made our reservation we asked for connecting rooms. The woman we spoke with said no problem. When we checked in the person at the front desk immediately said they probably won't be connected. I asked him to check the reservation to see if it was requested and he snapped back at me to slow down because he hadn't brought the reservation up yet. I was shocked that he would treat a guest like that. Definitely set the tone for our stay...especially at $200 per night.

Extremely friendly staff, okay breakfast (nothing special) convenient location (I could walk to shopping and Costco nearby) small room, and a nice warm pool. I was here during spring break for many colleges, so the hotel was full every night. The price is right, considering the location and time of year.

Room Tip: We had a standard king room for most of our stay and a larger king with a sofa for one night. We di...

Thank you for taking the time to submit your comments to Trip Advisor. Our location is one of the reasons so many people choose us the first time -- then they come back because of our staff! We now have a hot breakfast which includes scrambled eggs and sausage. I hope you will stay with us again when you are in Ft. Myers.

Being a elite level with Marriott we chose to stay here for one night while we attended our son's soccer game. Overall it is a typical Fairfield Inn except at a rate not reflective of a Fairfield. We made our reservation over a month ago & yet someone who walks in off the street gets a rate $30 less than what we paid. I may not have been as upset if the service level at the front desk wasn't less than expected. Next time maybe brand loyalty should be set aside and given to a hotel who wants my business.

Thank you for your review on Trip Advisor. I apologize you did not feel you were treated as you should have been as a Marriott Elite member. I hope you will give us another try when you are in Ft. Myers. Our staff usually gets positive comments in dealing with guests, and I'm sorry that this time we did not meet those standards.

My family stayed here, booking 2 rooms, for one night before moving on to our vacation destination. The rooms were nice, very clean. Breakfast offered a lot of different options, from fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereals, pastries, etc.

Only negative I have is the parking lot. It got very crowded in the evening, and only one entrance/exit that you cannot turn left out of. You have to turn right, then make a U-turn to get back to the main intersection. This was a bit confusing, and I saw people driving the wrong way once.

Thank you for your great comments on Trip Advisor, and also for mentioning our breakfast. We recently have included scrambled eggs and sausage, and this has proven to be a popular addition. Sometimes the parking lot is crowded -- I wish we could do something about that and the entry/exit, but we don't see how this could be accomplished. When you are vacationing here again, we hope you will include our hotel as part of your travel plans!

Stayed here for a few nights with my cousin's. Hotel has very very friendly staff, nice out door pool and hot tub. Nice breakfast area in the morning. Many choices of restaurants near by to choose from. Had a good time hanging out.

We booked the Fairfield through Priceline, so we weren't sure what to expect. We lucked out because it was a great place. Check in was fast, the front desk clerk was friendly, made a great suggestion of a place to grab dinner & watch the AFC football playoffs. The hotel was in a great location, close to Sanibel, shops & restaurants. The room was clean, nothing super fancy but provided what we needed for our stay. The pool area looked well maintained, the breakfast area was clean, we went early to beat the crowd, good selection of yogurt, fruit cups, bagels muffins, waffles, dry cereal & coffee - provided enough for us until lunch. the only complaint I have is the room we stayed in was near the back of the hotel on the first floor, the trash bins from the businesses behind the hotel were emptied fairly early which was a little noisy, so if you're a light sleeper I would ask where the room is located. Other than that, great stay for the price we paid.

Room Tip: ask about room location since trash removal is early & the trucks are pretty loud, our room was...

We stayed 2 nights here while on vacation. The rooms were large, the bedding updated, and the breakfast very generous. The outdoor pool was heated, but in February the air was still too cool for me to try. You are close to restarants and shopping. I would recommend this hotel for family, business, or groups. There were 37 of us, and we all felt taken care of.
