Planned to stay here only one night on a State-wide road trip. With their rates, the nearby shopping (outlet mall 25 mins and normal mall 10 mins away) and tidy room I decided to stay an additional night.
Booked online through Travelodge's website with AAA discount and got an outstanding rate.
The room was quite comfortable. Couldn't hear a single peep between the rooms.
The carpet in the room was in need of replacement but socks or slippers/sandals were perfectly fine.
The grounds of the facility need some work but it was clear that work has already begun. The pool area was a big surprise for a discount facility.
The biggest issue for people (seniors or young families) was the lack of an elevator. Although the facility is only 2 storeys it can still be a challenge getting luggage to your room if you have more than a few items.
The next biggest surprise was the breakfast... Having stayed in a few places already on this trip I can say the Travelodge's continental breakfast is the best thus far. Cold cereal, muffins, bagels, english muffins, waffles, coffee and juices. Doesn't sound exciting but everything was fresh and in abundance. No complaints there!

We had a one-queen-bed room. Small, but efficient -- although the sliding pocket door to the shower/toilet area was cumbersome and noisy (particularly in the middle of the night). The room apparently had been refurbished with new paint. But it seems that anything that did not move was painted, including the sink, the sink drain, and the sink counter top. Unfortunately some of that paint must have been applied over a gritty surface, giving it a cheap appearance, and some of the paint on the sink drain did not stick, also giving it a cheap appearance.

The room and the bathroom was clean. The mattress had a very hard edge, making it a bit uncomfortable getting in and out of bed. The room has a small "cube" refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, and a CRT TV. It has a good work desk. Good lighting. Access to wifi was quick and easy.

It also has a safe in the room -- Don't forget to request a refund of the fee charged for safe when you check out if you did not use the safe.

Breakfast is pretty meager. Juice, coffee, milk. Prepackaged muffins and prepacked slices of bread for toasting. Cold cereal and packages of hot cereal mix. No bananas, apples, or other fresh fruit. Just 3 tables in small breakfast area in the lobby.

Check in and check out were ok, but I would not describe the staffs' attitudes as particularly friendly or warm.

After traveling for hours with young children we looked forward to checking into the hotel.
To my surprise was what looked like a nice place on the website site certainly wasn’t. I wouldn’t walk or touch anything in this place without footwear and gloves.
The carpets in the hallway were stained and so dirty, paint peeling from the room doors, the trim on the inside of the room they gave us looked like it had been chewed by a dog or pried with a crowbar, rust in the sink and it stunk.
Needless to say we did not stay here. I cannot believe Travelodge has their name on the outside of this building.

Room Tip: Just dont stay here.
