We had a one-queen-bed room. Small, but efficient -- although the sliding pocket door to the shower/toilet area was cumbersome and noisy (particularly in the middle of the night). The room apparently had been refurbished with new paint. But it seems that anything that did not move was painted, including the sink, the sink drain, and the sink counter top. Unfortunately some of that paint must have been applied over a gritty surface, giving it a cheap appearance, and some of the paint on the sink drain did not stick, also giving it a cheap appearance.
The room and the bathroom was clean. The mattress had a very hard edge, making it a bit uncomfortable getting in and out of bed. The room has a small "cube" refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, and a CRT TV. It has a good work desk. Good lighting. Access to wifi was quick and easy.
It also has a safe in the room -- Don't forget to request a refund of the fee charged for safe when you check out if you did not use the safe.
Breakfast is pretty meager. Juice, coffee, milk. Prepackaged muffins and prepacked slices of bread for toasting. Cold cereal and packages of hot cereal mix. No bananas, apples, or other fresh fruit. Just 3 tables in small breakfast area in the lobby.
Check in and check out were ok, but I would not describe the staffs' attitudes as particularly friendly or warm.
