“Ole tyme fish fry on the water”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

Great service, diverse menu (from wings to oysters on the half shell), huge portions, reasonable prices, and it was any closer to the water one would have to go swimming. The place packed on a Monday in the off season so that says something about its popularity.

“Lots of food - reasonable for lunch”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

This is a review for the location in Fort Myers - not the one in the Best Western.
They serve a lot of food for a reasonable price. The fried items are not greasy, and the hush puppies are very good.
It used to be that they would provide a small bowl of the smoked fish dip for you to enjoy before your food arrived - the last time we were there, they did not serve that. It had always been complimentary.
I can eat the lunch items here and be satisfied as if I had eaten dinner.
Sometimes the blackened items are blackened to the bottom of the dish, though, and that's a bit of a drawback.
We do enjoy this place.
The service is generally non-intrusive and you have to wave down a server to get a refill, but they use oversize plastic drinkware, so it takes awhile to drink that.
As far as sides, they are so-so - the baked potatoes seem to always have brown spots inside them, fyi. But the main draw here is not the sides; it's the food.
I'm not a fan of the location, but stopped here once on the way back from downtown Ft. Myers and was pleasantly surprised.

“Will be going back for more!!”
Reviewed June 2, 2012

This is a great restaurant in N. Ft Myers. Have been coming to this area my whole life (grandparents lived here now parents) and this was the best we have been to for years! My husband and mother are oyster lovers and they both got the fried oyster platter and my mother even commented that my husband did not finish all of his..not because it wasn't great but the servings were big. We also had the fish dip served when you get there and we got a basket of onion rings, wrong move if you want to finish your meal, they were good and HUGE. So the oysters large and were lightly breaded. I got the shrimp and asked for 1/2 fried, 1/2 broiled and they were great, different shrimp were used and i would recommend getting the broiled they were large and cooked perfect. Most dinners come in 2 sizes + 2 sides and hush puppies that are very good, sweet tea and sodas are also extra large. So....it is very good and service was great as well! Very comfortable, we got a table by the water and it was open mic night but it wasn't obnoxious or too loud; they were having fun and we did too!!

“North Fort Myers location”
Reviewed June 1, 2012

We are regulars and love this place right along the water. The other day we just went in for cocktails and some snacks. The crackers and fish dip could have a bit more presentation than the usual excellent servings. The service was still top shelf but we were disappointed with the two basic crackers and the half teaspoon of fish dip. We know they can and usually do much better. After all we had a $50 plus beverage bill and one serving of fish dip. LOL it was not the ususal style for Three Fishermen. The group as a result did not want to stay for diner in spite of our encouragement.
