I have not had Peruvian food before. This was a fantastic experience. The waitress was so helpful
In helping us find food and drink choices that would appeal to us. The food was delicious and fresh. The moduros or sweet plantains were served perfectly hot and crispy with a warm gooey center. I can't wait to go back, great food and service.

After searching for a peruvian restaurant in the area, we went on a Saturday night to El Patio. We enjoyed appetizer, main course and a dessert with great espresso.
The Ceviche was excellent as were thechunks of beef and chicken.we will come back

I went on line to a few sites to review the restaurant before trying it out on my birthday. The outside was nothing fancy but the inside was very lovely, and intimate restaurant with pleasant decor. The wait staff were very nice and attentive. They have a large menu of authentic Peruvian cuisine.

I have the seafood ceviche and my hubby had the seafood fried rice and fried seafood special platter. Everything was simply delightful. The food was placed beautifully on the plates. First class. If you despise the chain restaurant experience, then El Patio is for you. The prices are reasonable and portions are abundant. They also have a bakery for those of you that desire after dinner treats.

We will definitely have to return to try the variety of items on the menu. The location is a little hard to get to, but it's well worth the stress.

I think I've been to Peru....vicariously through the menu at the El Patio.and noticed that it had been expanded and redecorated inside. The place is a charming bistro type cafe with a bakery and is clean and neat. The real treat however, was the extensive menu comprising a variety of Peruvian chicken, meat and fish dishes as well as appetizers, side dishes and deserts. There is a nice lunch selection at reduced prices with supposedly smaller portions but ours were really dinner sized. Wow! What to choose? We picked a rice platter with beef, chicken, scrambled eggs, chives and sweet pepper pieces piled high on a platter sized plate. Also, a shredded chicken dish in yellow sauce flavored with cilantro over yucca and a round scoop of white rice. I was curious about the deserts so we ordered a small plate of fried yellow bananas and some thin, freshly made thin donuts served on a plate with honey syrup. Very tasty! The servers were polite and helpful and the prices were reasonable. We'll be back to try some of the other interesting dishes soon.
