The attraction wasn't necessarily the birds, turtles, fish.... The whole experience lends itself to calm, quiet, introspection. We walked very slowly, stood silently for long periods and soaked in the serenity. The variety of foliage, be it huge ferns or giant cypress trees, was staggering. We spent several hours in quiet contemplation. We'd definitely return.
