The preserve is easily accessable, has no admission fee (small parking fee), and has a boardwalk approx. one kilometre long that meanders past a small lake, and thru the old growth cypress swamp. We have seen an enormous alligator, otters, snakes, wild pigs and over fifteen species of birds on a single stroll. There are usually volunteers there to point out and identify the critters. Located minutes from the interstate in Fort Myers.
