First visit to this restaurant. We ordered off the menu which is very extensive. We had the walnut shrimp and orange chicken. Presentation was above average for this type restaurant. Food was fresh and delivered to the table hot. Both dishes were excellent. Service was top notch and we will be back.

Recently "Tokyo Bay", this restaurant has a nice selection, very good sushi bar, and of course the 'dinner and show' hibachi area. The miso soup is some of the best I've had, the fish was fresh, and the General Tso's chicken was delivered to the sushi bar. The gyoza appetizer is great, they are deep fried and not pan fried potstickers which IMHO made them much tastier. Service was quite good (they were slow for a saturday early evening-4PM) and we had most of the waitresses attention. A good choice.

We visited Nami wih a Groupon. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere was simple and very clean which is always a plus. Although we came for simple Asian fare, they have a nice sushi. Bar and another area. With hibachi grills. I got the miso soup for starters and krab Rangoon appetizer. Rangoon was excellent but I didn't care for the broth in the miso soup. We ordered Szechwan chicken and kung oao. Both were good but we like them a little spicier. We'll. Return for hibachi some night.

We stopped in here for dinner the other night and quite enjoyed the meal. The tossed salad with ginger dressing was typical of Japanese restaurants and quite good. For dinner, I had the Walnut Shrimp with fried rice. It was okay but the shrimp had a very thick tempura type coating with a syrupy sauce; it could be toned down a bit. My wife had the Thai Basil Vegetable Stir Fry with Shrimp and it was delicious. For dessert: what else? - Red Bean Ice Cream. Excellent.

Happily, there were several other tables with diners. If you have teens or small children and want to giggle, try the teppanyaki grill.

Oh, by the way, Nami means wave (as in tsunami).
