Greatly surprised at the quality and style of the food here to be in Florida. We have eaten at hundreds of Mexican restaurants all around the US and Mexico and this one stands out as one of the best. Excellent variety menu more of a gourmet nature. I tried the only combination to sample a variety. The soft carne asada taco was great. The mole enchilada had a terrific mole sauce. The tamale was good and the Chile Relleno was excellent. Every one else commented on the quality of the food. The margaritas were freshly made and they have a good choice of tequilas. Jafet the server was most attentive and helpful. Will definitely go back.

We visited Cantina Laredo for the first time with another couple to celebrate her birthday. We were seated right away at a nice booth. We ordered drinks - three opted for the house margarita and my wife chose the sangria. All were generous servings and very good. As an appetizer, we shared the Queso Laredo, a spiced cheese dip that was excellent with their warm fresh tortilla chips. For dinner the other couple each chose the two enchiladas dish. I selected the Durango - a cheese chile relleno, chicken mole enchilada and a spinach enchilada served with yellow rice; my wife chose the Enchiladas de Mole - two chicken enchiladas covered with mole sauce, served with refried beans and yellow rice. All of our meals were excellent. Our server was fast, professional, helpful and friendly. They also had strolling mariachis who stopped at our table and played a couple of songs in honor of our friends birthday. It was a very enjoyable evening and we highly recommend this restaurant.

We didn't come to FL to get "Mexican" food at dinner but oddly enough this place was recommended by a clerk at Victorias Secret and it was an excellent place to dine. The chips were served heated and the salsas were super and the enchiladas perfect!

A nice upscale setting and a varied menu of unique entrees made our visit a great experience. The Perfect Margarita was exactly that, and I heard good reports on the mojito and the sangria drinks as well. The tacos al pastor (three to a plate) were very flavorful. Others in my group enjoyed the chicken Tampico, the tacos barbacoa, and the chile relleno filled with pico de gallo, almonds, and raisins. Two types of salsas, both mild and spicy, were served with crispy chips. Service was a bit slow at times and one drink took a very long time in getting to our table. We attributed it to a busy Friday night. Our servers were all friendly.

This is the best place to go for high quality fresh Mexican food. We visit often when traveling in season. The margaritas are great. Mole sauce is the best I've had. Not to mention the hot chips with fantastic salsa. You will pay higher prices but since it's fresh and delicious, don't think about it. Highly recommend.
