“Real New England Seafood”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2011

After reading the reviews, we decided to try this family owned restaurant. It is small and not fancy but the food is great. For less than $10 I had a very good clam chowder, a salad and a platter of wonderful fried oysters. My husband had the same two sides with baked stuff shrimp that were also great although a little heavy on the butter. The wine was also good and reasonable. The service was friendly and excellent. We will definitely return.

“MUST EXPERIENCE!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2011

Small family friendly restaurant with the freshest seafood full of flavor! The lobster bisque was the best we've ever tasted. The clam chowder to say the least, authentic and full of flavor! Crab cakes..when there is more lump meat crab than bread crumbs, what can we say! The royal platter with shrimp, scallops and haddock was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Our kids enjoyed seeing a live clam for the first time thanks to our friendly waiter. A bity homemade draft brew topped off the meal for a great family experience. We will definitely come back on our next Florida visit!

“Best of the Best in Ft Myers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2011

This is by far the best seafood you can get in Ft Myers. I lived in Boston for 50 years and this restaurant compares to the best in Boston. If you like fresh Haddock I think it arrives at the restaurant "SWIMMING" But please don't go before 6PM because thats when I go for the $9.95 early bird special and the place is busy without more fish lovers.

“The clam bake is good home cooked new england seafood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2011

My husband is from new englad and is very picky when it come to cold water sea food, but the clam bake is is favorite place. We love the early bird specials and also the soups. Everything is so good and home made. It is a family run restaurant and they make you feel like you are apart of the family. We love this place! Great food great people!

“Fantastic food, service and value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2011

My husband and I went to the Clam Bake TWICE during our stay in Fort Meyers. The first time after reading reviews online, and then the second when we couldn't think of anywhere better to go after dining at several other restaurants. The food was fresh, flavorful and well prepared. The service outstanding and friendly. We'll be trying to duplicate their potatoes when we get home. Get there before 6 p.m., and get a selection of platters for $9.99. A fabulous value.
