Description: Walking through the front doors, guests are greeted by the in-house seafood market, where the Prawnbroker showcases their specially chosen fresh fillets of fish and beef, hand-cut on premise, that are sure to tempt the palates of all. To emphasize their commitment to buying local and bringing you the freshest seafood Ft. Myers has to offer, you'll find our hand picked selection straight from the local waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Here you'll get a peek at the sumptuous fare that you'll soon be enjoying from their comfortable yet elegant dining room. Feast your eyes on mouth-watering Snapper, Gulf Shrimp, Softshell Crabs, Mahi Mahi, and the best Grouper Florida has to offer. Small tubs of pale pink creamy shrimp bisque stand in line next to bases for both kinds of chowder - New England style being what the restaurant is most famous for, a nod to the original owners' home region. Diners consistently return to enjoy these favorites plus the greatest Florida Stone crabs (in season) and Maine Lobsters.

Decided to try the restaurant after reading the comments on Tripadvsor, and the result has been really satisfactory. The environment is casual and relaxed. The restaurant seemed pretty busy, even for a Wednesday night, but we were seated in few minutes. I had the Black and White sesame tuna and my husband had the grilled platter, with schrimps and scallops. Quality of both was superior, at the right quantity.
If I would come again in the area, definitely would come back here.
Just one point, air conditioning was a little bit too high.

Decisamente da provare. Il pesce ė eccellente.

This is a reliable stalwart for good seafood in Fort Meyers. Atmosphere is not the draw, along a busy street in a small strip mall, but the food is the draw. Great shrimp bisque, fresh shrimp dishes and favorites like grouper. Often crowded and may require a wait in the outdoor mall area.

Dined here based on hotel recommendation. The sea bass was exceptional. The meal came with great side options that were fresh and made in house. Prices reflected the quality of food they offer. Well worth a stop.

After waiting almost an hour for a table, we were finally seated. The waiter showed up very quickly with a loaf of bread and the menus. He preceded to take our drink order. He was back within 60 seconds wondering if we were ready to order. We then inquired about the daily dinner specials and were told they ended at 5;30. We told him we arrived at the restaurant at 4:45 but weren't seated until 5:45. He indicated that didn't matter. We paid for drinks and left the restaurant and won't ever go back. Seems like very poor business practices to treat customers so unfairly.
