To emphasize their commitment to buying local and bringing you the freshest seafood Ft. Myers has to offer, you'll find our hand picked selection straight from the local waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Here you'll get a peek at the sumptuous fare that you'll soon be enjoying from their comfortable yet elegant dining room. Feast your eyes on mouth-watering Snapper, Gulf Shrimp, Softshell Crabs, Mahi Mahi, and the best Grouper Florida has to offer. Small tubs of pale pink creamy shrimp bisque stand in line next to bases for both kinds of chowder - New England style being what the restaurant is most famous for, a nod to the original owners' home region. Diners consistently return to enjoy these favorites plus the greatest Florida Stone crabs (in season) and Maine Lobsters.

We made dinner reservations the day before dining here. Although the restaurant was packed, we were seated promptly. Our server, Becky, did a great job! We enjoyed delicious warm bread, and fresh salads. Our entrees were also delicious and served very hot. Great food and great service!

“Great Even if you can't get in, get "take" out!!!!!”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

We visited with friends a few days in Fort Myers. They recommended we get take out from this place as they said it is really hard to get a table last minute...we called and order in...I got the coconut shrimp and they got grouper and fisherman's platters....the dinner was amazing, even eating it at home...they included everything and I was so impressed that I just ordered a nice gift certificate from the Prawnbroker for those same friends as a thank you for their hospitality.

“Best Crunchy Grouper! Will go back every year!”
Reviewed March 7, 2014

Great food, great service, great fish house. Nice area and bar to wait on a table. Celebrated my Mom's 76th Birthday here recently and we all had a great meal. They brought her a piece of key lime pie with a candle! Large portions -had enough to take home for lunch the next day. My mom frequents this restaurant when in Ft Myers in the winter. Popular with the locals, not just the snowbirds.

My Dad and I had dinner here on March 3rd. We arrived in time for happy hour and had rely delicious old fashioneds! Dinner was crunchy grouper for Fad; I had the broed red snapper. Meal was very good and reasonably priced. We eat here each time we are in Cape Coral. Highly recommend.

“Fabulous food, service and atmosphere.”

If you are looking for great seafood, this place won't disappoint. It has a very friendly staff and a great decor. Some had steak and they loved their meals as well. During season, you will need reservations! Very popular place!
