Attended the opening of Broadway Bistro last weekend. Very impressed with what the owners did to give this spot a make-over. Talented new chef, great ala cart menu and the atmosphere was great. Live music and good food, what else could you ask for??!! This is going to make a great addition to the downtown area and give some of the surrounding resturants a run for their money this year! Can't wait to go back for more!!@!!

Went to their grand opening and had very good meal and good service. Their weak point is lack of real atmosphere in their newly remodeled space. They chose plastic table liners for their table tops--not acceptable for a place with ala cart menu prices of $20 plus. Tables really need tablecloths and some candles or better lighting on the tables. Ceiling lights are not good. And the artwork--or lack of art--is substandard in a bistro setting. They hung cheap Broadway show posters having nothing to do with their look or color scheme. Once again the owners of the Indigo Hotel have taken a cheap approach to almost everything they do, and it shows in their newest remodeling.

Perhaps the food is good and the chef is trying hard, but lack of atmosphere with upscale menu pricing will not bring people back for more. Note to restaurant manager--look around other upscale restaurants and perhaps talk to a design professional and make some changes, quickly.

If you're looking for a new restaurant in downtown, this is it! The food is all from local vendors and they thrive on everything fresh and made in house. Many selections of fish, including the best grouper I have had in a long time. You will also find pasta, chicken and steaks. Our waitress, Karen, was fabulous and made our visit a great night out! They have just recently opened and have just a few touches to do inside...that is the only reason I did not give "atmosphere" an excellent rating. You will not be disapointed to dine here!

Stopped at Broadway Bistro, formally Vino De Notte, last night for dinner in downtown Fort Myers just to relax and to walk around town a little to get into the Christmas feeling. I understand the place just reopened Thanksgiving week under the new name. The remodeling looks great and the atmosphere is greatly improved. We had a fantastic waitress, Kristen, who explained the new menu and recommended a few favorites. We ended up ordering the Crab Cake appetizer that was very good and for entrees we had the Pork Chop and the Paella. The pork chop was perfectly done and very juicy and tasty. The paella came with a small split lobster that was a little messy to eat but otherwise was very good. The staff was very attentive and always insuring that we were being taken care of. It was a very pleasant and relaxing evening.
