We were a party of 10 that met for dinner after work on a Friday night, with reservations made well in advance, thankfully. This place is hopping for a lot of reasons. The ambiance is superb; the first thing you see when you walk in is a very bustling open kitchen, and across the room a nice size bar, with high top tables in between for dining. Beyond that are various other dining rooms, with very interesting and inviting decor, so it's a pretty large place. The service was very professional and prompt. We ordered various menu items, from steaks and prime rib, to seafood items, and all were delicious and cooked to perfection. One caveat...one person in our party was brought an entree he hadn't ordered, which was quickly whisked back to the kitchen, and in a few minutes he was delivered the correct order. Immediately the manager came over to find out why the mistake was made and apologized profusely. He could have just as easily ignored the situation, so we were duly impressed. Be aware that the portions are a good size, and most entrees come with choice of salad or soup, which surprisingly included the bisque without an extra charge, and turned out to be a huge bowl...not a cup! The house salad was also large, and we almost regretted having the fresh oysters and clams on the half shell for appetizers (freshly shucked, not sitting around opened for hours in a fridge). We were fairly full before the entrees arrived. Not that it stopped us from eating it all. Even the collard greens, not usually found on a restaurant menu in Florida, were raved about by some of the native southerners at our table. All in all a wonderful experience, worth every penny, and we can't wait to return for more! Very impressive for a restaurant that just opened 4 months ago!
