We stayed there in March, 2013 for four nights and we had a nice experience. The room was clean when we arrived and was cleaned on a daily basis. The bathroom area is small but the shower and toilet are separate from the sink, so we managed fine. The pool is small and not heated, but was never crowded. The hotel is next to a small gas station, which was convenient for a quick stop for gas or snacks. The complimentary breakfast included waffles, pastries and an assortment of cereals and fruit. On the last morning, we headed downstairs for breakfast; however, we woke up too late and didn't realize we were too late, as everything had been put away. My five year-old was disappointed & sad that we had missed breakfast, so we just returned to our room to pack up. As we were exiting the hotel, the the manager quickly came over and offered my kid an array of breakfast items. She gave us pastries, cereal, yogurt, milk, and fruit. I didn't get her name, but I'll always remember her kindness, as she went beyond and above her duties. I would definitely stay there again.
I arrived at the hotel and was imediately greeted with a warm smile and friendly hello! The property was clean and the rooms were no different very clean and odorless, unlike some other hotels i have visited on my other travels! I definetly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again in the near future! BTW...They also allow camper and semi parking for hotel guests! Cheap prices, great hotel, great staff and great location, you cant beat this place if travelling to Fort Myers!
I stayed here in 2009 for five days and the staff was courteous, the room was nice for the money ($50 some) and the location was close to everything so a good central location for exploring the area. Cannot think of anything negative about the motel. Later on I stayed at the nearby Motel 6, which was about the same, but has since been bought by another chain. The Super 8 was just as good or better. You get what you pay for. It is not champagne on a beer budget, but for the money just right.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Fort Myers, FL Super 8. It was not the same Super 8 image we've seen in the past. This place was lovely, nice rooms, very friendly staff, central location. It looked like it has been recently renovated and making a sincere effort to make this hotel stand out. The rate was reasonable. In addition it was located near an excellent Mexican restaurant, Iguana Mia. We will try to stay here whenever we are in the Fort Myers area.
