We were a group of 6 and you are seated at train tables of 4. Luckily, we made friends with the other two folks at our table. Dinner presentation is lovely. Appys of cheese, fruit and crackers ready upon arrival. We were in the last car, furthest from the kitchen and the bar car and because the show takes place in each railroad car, service is interrupted while this takes place. We felt that soup was warm, not hot. All who got prime rib felt it was warm and could have been less bland. Chicken was a bit dry and not hot. Did not see anyone get the salmon. Dessert was cake, fair at best. Had to order drinks 2 at a time due to bar car delay. That being said, service was excellent from the wait staff and the show was terrific. Funny, engaging and we really enjoyed it. Makes a nice special occasion.
Note to Gulf Railway folks: invest in computer software that has tablets on the tables to allow customers to order their drinks and dinner. And think about moving the kitchen and bar car to the middle....to make folks in the end car not have to wait. This is a great date night with room for improvement.
