A beautiful building and a great view from the second story is why this place got and points.
Entering is expensive considering most are in the area is free, and most of the art is pretty bad.

The Art of the Olympians is housed in a wonderfully renovated white stucco building on the waterfront in Fort Myers at 1300 Hendry Street. The first floor gallery has an expansive view of the Caloosahachtee River. On this level are displays of equipment and memorabilia of various Olympians on a rotating basis. Visitors might see track shoes, speed skating suits, Olympic medals, or a skating program depending on the featured sport.

The building is accessible, so an easy trip by elevator to the upper level takes visitors to the second floor art gallery. This features several shows annually displaying art done by Olympic athletes. There might be large colorful paintings, exquisite sculptures, or abstract designs.

There is a small gift shop on the first floor offering caps, tee shirts, books, small art prints and more.

The facility may be rented for a special reception or social event, too.

There is ample parking in the downtown waterfront district, both on the streets nearby and in a central parking garage.
