Sanibel Harbor Tower: We stayed in condominium unit 614 on the 6th floor. It is a 2-bedroom, 2 bath unit that is privately owned but was available through Platinum Interchange as a time share exchange. The unit over looked Pine Island Sound [not the Gulf of Mexico]. Take the last exit immediately before the causeway toll-booths leading to Sanibel Island. Sanibel Harbor Towers shares the exit with a four star Marriott which in itself is worth a visit. The unit is accurately described at the following URL:
The week that we were there [September 28 to October 5] the sunsets were nothing to write home about; however, the sunrises were absolutely spectacular. I’ll attach a few pictures. At this time of year the sun rises around 7:20 am so it is not difficult to be up to see them from the landing outside the units entry.
Sanibel Harbor Towers is nicely located and allowed easy day trips to Sanibel Island; Ft Meyers Beach; and a longer one south to Naples and Marco Island.
