We decided to dine her Christmas Eve. They were offering a prix fixe menu that evening of 4 courses for $55 per person plus tax and gratuity which knowing the quality of the food and service, we thought was a deal! We were seated at a romantic table for two and were quickly greeted by Danny, our server for the eve. The first course offered 3 choices - Escargot a la Bourguignonne, Pate de Campagne or Butternut Squash Soup. We decided on the Escargot and the Pate. Both were delicious! 2nd course was a Green Salad with a Goat Cheese Crostini and Roasted Shallot Balsamic Dressing. Again delicious! The dressing is so good I think they should bottle it and sell it.. 3rd course had 4 choices - Seared Lamb Chops with a Minted Rosemary au Jus, or Beef Tenderloin topped with Foie Gras and a Wild Mushroom Demi Glace, or Main Lobster Thermidor, or Duck Breast a la Orange. This was the hard part. They all sounded so good but we finally decided on the Tenderloin and the Lobster. The Tenderloin was perfectly cooked and had a very generous piece of Foie Gras on it. The sauce was rich and perfectly seasoned. The Lobster was perfectly cooked and sooooooo good! Last course was a slice of a beautiful Yule Log. It was a perfect ending to such a beautiful dinner. Service was perfect. Lisa (the other server that eve) and Danny kept things flowing and made sure wine glasses were always filled. : )
