“Christmas is the best time to go”

The estates are open at night and beautifully decorated and lit for the season. Local schools decorate trees and compete for awards. The music is cheerful and really gets you in that special Christmas spirit. The grounds turn into a winter wonderful albeit a warm Florida version. That makes it all the better for those of us who don't like cold weather. The children will get a great history lesson too.

“Intresting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

There are pretty gardens and pathways to walk through. The homes are nice, you don't get to go in them, they are set up so that you may look through the window. We took the guided tour, which was informative, but you hear almost the exact same talk if you stick with the self guided tour. One nice thing is that if you do choose to do the guided tour they do give you the audio tour also, so when your guided tour is over you may go back to places and listen to the audio. The allow photos and you are free to wonder the grounds for as long as you wish. The museum had many intresting and historical artifacts.
