Its a great way to spend 2 hours with kids. There's a lot to see and do including petting and feeding stingrays, so there's something for everyone

“Not as much fun as it sounds :-(”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

Despite what you might have heard, it does rain in Florida sometimes, and if your'e staying in (say) Fort Myers Beach and have some bored kids with an intellectual bent this one might be for you. I must admit, when my wife and I went to check it out, out of curiosity, we were not overwhelmed -- but then we are grandparents, not kids.
The location is in a not very elegant area of Fort Myers, but it's not hard to find and has decent parking.
It will cost 2 adults and 2 children $40 which (I suppose) is not bad these days.
I have a warped bent, so I enjoyed the brainteasers. There's a "fish petting area" -- not original, but kids like it. The "dino dig" is impressive, the wind tunnel "hurricane experience" less so, and overall I doubt you will wnat to spend more than an hour or two.

“More focused on young children”

We did enjoy this museum. Numerous, brain-teasing puzzles were fun. 3D movie was enjoyable too.

“Better for the under 10 age group”
Reviewed March 4, 2012

We had high hopes for this visit, but found it was more geared for children younger than 10. My child was bored pretty quickly, but enjoyed the fish feeding area.

“OK for Kids”
Reviewed February 27, 2012

Although the Imaginarium does have some nice things and entertainment for kids to see it is not very appealing to adults. It is also in a bad vicinity of Ft Myers.
