Location very convenient to reach at Edison Shopping Mall, Food very international but Service is not acceptable.
We were here two times this week, first seated in a very cosy corner and had to ask after a while if somebody will serve us - they just forgot us, second I ordered coleslaw and got fries.
Waiter said can happen no sorry just take it.

First visit with local friends Wednesday at 1:45. Nearly full but no wait. Mixed crowd from young families with young children, office lunch groups / party, to retirees in small groups. This is the height of our winter tourist season and first day of spring.

Local restaurants, especially in downtown Fort Myers, have no or very limited parking, normally street only. This is within Edison mall with prominent exterior signage. Easy to find, easy to park at no extra cost.

Our waitress shared that this mostly California chain has three in Florida. Think P F Chang's on the Thai side. Ample menu choices but Waffle House style plastic menu with separate "daily specials". On a first visit, you need time to assimilate. Your soft drinks or bar drinks arrive quickly.

The Manchurian Beef had too many red peppers picked out. The Thai salad fully consumed excepting the plate-filling broccoli stalks. My Cilantro Citrus Salmon was tasty, well prepared and hot as expected. Its sole flaw was sand or grit in the bed of vegetable medley. A Crème Brule was exceptional.

Perhaps a sign-of-the-times; but, far too much marketing. Restaurant apparently expects staff to: bar sell, special sell, side-sell, up-sell, web survey sell. SELL. SELL. SELL. Enough! My waitress and I would enjoy the dining experience more if Elephant Bar could just chill. These people deserve your respect not your threats. This is laid-back SW Florida; not hurry up, I have to pay my taxes California…

I probably wouldn't go back. Food was average and the service was spotty. We felt rushed by the server from the minute we sat down but then she would disappear for long periods. It was clear she wanted us to go when she repeatedly stopped by the table to ask if we were finished when we were still eating.

We had made a reservation for a group of 12 at this establishment last Friday for 5:45PM. We arrived at 5:15. The restaurant was less than 1/2 full. The hostess stated that we were 1/2 hr early. They were slow in setting up a table for us. Finally after 15 minutes a table was ready. There was a coupon for 2 meals with an appetizer or dessert for $20. We had the Chicken lettuce wrap appetizer which was very good. There were 4 pieces of lettuce and plenty of chicken. The chicken was served over a large red cabbage leaf. For entree we had the salmon which was served with brown rice & veggies, very good. The Korean Chicken & Kona rib combo was excellent. The chicken was served with a delicious dipping sauce and the meat fell off the bones on the ribs. An excellent value for $20. We ordered the 4 combo dessert for $8 which was enough to share with 3 others. After a slow start, the service was quick after we were seated and the meal a memorable one.

We stopped in here for lunch while visiting the Edison Mall. We continue to occasionally brave this mall although a murder occurred in the parking lot here a few months ago.

We each had the jambalaya and found it to be edible, but extremely average. There was no spark or pizazz. It was bland with almost no heat and the sausage was in miniscule cubes, barely discernible to the eye and certainly not to the palate. The shrimp (farm raised in Asia) was odd; some were quite good, while others were firm & mealy and not at all appetizing.
