Wonderful park. Since it was a chilly day we got to see about 80 Manatees! At the time there was an official count going on by individuals and by air. A news station reporter was there doing a piece about it. It has a boardwalk and trail system winding through it with native plants and a butterfly garden. Kayak rentals are available. It was so cool to see the Manatees being inquisitive of the kayakers.

Parking is the only fee which was $1per hr.

“Take your kayak or rent...Fun for ALL”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

Did a walking tour Jan 19th, 2013, Returned next day and kayaked with the Manatee. I did not count, But there were bunches both large and small. Well worth the parking fee.
Plenty of Manatee in the warm water in Jan. Feb. & March.
If you plan to kayak, call me. Lew

“Great stop!”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

We heard from word of mouth about this place and are glad we did. The day we were there, we saw about 30 manatees. We had gone on their website and were told they had about 50 - 80 present that day. They have a nice walkway and viewing area. Many knowledgeable people to talk to there too. It is easy to see all of them and take pictures. It was a great way to spend part of the day.

“The best experience ever seeing the Manatees”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

We visited the Manatee Park in Ft Meyers Fl on Monday Feb 18th with my daughters and grandchildren from Michigan and we saw atleast a 100 manatee and watched an excellent presentation by two volunteers Tom and Sharon from Wisconsin that were very passonate about the well being of the manatee. My kids totally enjoyed the experience and well have a great memory of it for many years to come.
