Expecting a 5* resort but came away feeling totally ripped off. The resort is miles from anywhere so you are a captive money making machine. The hotel resembles a multi storey car park and is utilitarian and not at all comfortable.
I received a ‘deal’ consisting of a room for two couples and one round of golf for two persons. The booking clerk failed to say the hotel and amenities were in shut down, with just a couple of restaurants open and very few guests.
Both rooms were grubby with a dirty sock under one of the vanity’s. Bed linen and towels, however, were clean.
Two of the ladies used the spa pools (a scene from middle earth, rather grim) only and were charged an extra $40 for the privilege, why is this not included in the room rate or the resort fee?

Dinner in the P205 was okay but way overpriced and very similar to the usual ‘chain’ restaurants. Service was passable and again the restaurant was distinctly lacking in diners.

The golf was a disaster, due to the weather, sometimes understandable but the ten holes played, followed by a 2.1/2 hour delay due to lightning many miles away was a bit over the top. The rest of the round was curtailed after a further 11 minutes play and we finished the day at that point having paid the full fees and caddy. Disappointed that no offers of a voucher, to help compensate, which would cost the resort absolutely zero and in fact would help with return visits and more money making opportunities! The caddy did mention to me that their aim was to achieve a spend of a $1000 a day per room. Nice touch?
The holes we played were enjoyable but between holes and the periphery were generally a mess.

I came from the UK expecting a fabulous course, experience and a wonderful fully functioning hotel and would suggest the marketing photographer has a lot to answer for.
If the owners would care to look up or to visit Rockliffe Hall Golf Resort in County Durham, England they would find what 5*s really looks like at a fraction of the cost, it’s beautiful!!

We had a wonderful time celebrating a special day at Streamsong. The resort is in a wildlife preserve in central Florida with beautiful trails and settings. Great service from all the employees, especially the reception area. We will definitely return as we had such a superb experience.

Room tip: Stay at resort as everything is 45 minutes away.

Hotel rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere but they had everything you could need on the property. The staff was excellent and they have plenty of people to take care of you.

Played red and black courses on consecutive days. The red course was scenic and a great challenge. Our caddie, Mo was excellent and engaging. The turf was thinner than one would expect for such a fine layout.
The black course is one of a kind. Spectacular terrain and design. Greens are the biggest I’ve ever seen. It’s only two years old. Someday soon it will be the top rated course in the state. But, the turf was just fair.
Play was slow but worth the time spent

Just got home from a great weekend. We were there for a junior golf tournament. Loved the unique room. Two queen beds, two TVs, living area, mini fridge, and coffee maker. The grounds were beautiful. We walked the paved hiking trail around the property and saw two deer. The pool was nice too. And golf courses...just wow!!! They played the red and blue courses and both were amazing. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
