We enjoyed dinner for three the Monday evening before Thanksgiving 2013. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. We appreciated the dining experience and look forward to stopping in the next time we are in the area.

We made reservations for New Years eve. Our reservation was for 8:45 pm. We get there and all tables are taken and there are at least 60 people waiting to be seated. I talked to a few people and they all have made reservations and were very disgusted having to wait hours for their table. We asked Mario and he told us that there were 25 parties ahead of us and that it would take from 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours to be seated. He simply overbooked, to make as much money as possible. He did not care that by doing that he mislead and ruined the evenings of many people. The place is a hole in the wall, only seats maybe 50 people. Pictures are very misleading in the restaurant website. Many people got tired of waiting including us and left. By that time it was very hard to find another restaurant opened. Mario ruined many peoples' evening to satisfy his greed. DONT EVER GO THERE, THIS GUY HAS NO PRINCIPLES

I made reservation for my husband and I for New Year's Eve and was given the time of 8 PM. We waited for 50 minutes without being seated as other patrons push by us because they knew the maître d' or the owner. we were slowly moved towards a bar area, not offered a drink and still not seated and after almost an hour despite having a reservation. we decided we would leave .it ruined our New Year's Eve. There was no reservation list anywhere...it didn't matter if you made one cause no one asked if you had one ...no apologies no smiles no nothing...after all my experiences this was by far the worst treatment I have ever received by a restaurant...they won't see us ag

It was crowded but we had made reservations and this clearly made no difference as it was come one come all, and the one's who made the most noise got seated first. After a hour of waiting we just left, fuming!

The mojito and white sangria were to die for. We started off with their famous fried plantains, they were amazing. For our entrees we had lechon asado, a roast pork dish and chicken filet with sautéed peppers and onions. They were both fantastic. Mario, the owner checks on tables and chats with each customer. Whenever in ft. Lauderdale, you must add this restaurant to your dining list, you will not be disappointed.
