Lauderdale Grille is a really nice place. I was never there before and when the friendly owner, John Baker, came over you can feel how genuinely he cares that you are having a good, are well cared for -- and well fed!!!! When asked, “What’s special”? John said, “Try my Baker-Style Prime Rib dinner.” Hmmm doggie, John has that dish down to a “science”. It’s so good I have been back twice in the past two weeks. It’s perfectly cooked (smoked actually) prime rib - then he melts gorgonzola cheese on top under the broiler. That by itself is YUMMY; but then, he makes an outrageous horseradish sauce to dip it into that is like nothing I ever tasted. My tongue was having a real “party” -- which got even better when I dipped perfectly hand cut sweet-potato fries into this honey butter sauce that is so “over-the-top” you won’t believe it. I would drink it if I could get away with it. His people are real attentive and nice. The service is good. I’m getting hungry just thinking about the place. I think I’ll just go back make sure it’s as good as this review says. It is!!
