Everett at the front desk deserves a raise. Talk about going over the top. Great service. He is a great asset to your company and I wish every hotel would train their employees this way. Very kind and efficient.

We stayed here for one night pre cruise. Good location for restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. But hotel is over priced. Not worth $220 rate for one night. I used some AMEX points and that brought the nightly rate to $80 not including tax. In our opinion a fair rate for our room would of been no more than $120 a night including tax. The interior of the hotel is worn as well.

Thank you for sharing your experience with others. Our location is certainly one of the best for pre/post cruisers. Our rates are comparable to the other hotels in the area, the good news is that unlike the other hotels on the SE 17th street strip.... we include free hot buffet breakfast, free internet, free parking, free business center and fitness center, microwave and refrigerators in all rooms! Summer months are quickly approaching and like all other hotels in South Florida our rates will be lower. I welcome a call from you to discuss your recent stay as our rooms were renovated less than 2 years ago and just recently we've added new chairs to our double bedded rooms and sofas to our King rooms... drapes and skirtings are all new. The finish product is absolutely beautiful.
I certainly hope to have you stay with us again soon. Please allow me to assist you with your reservation.

This is our usual hotel for per or post cruise stays. Close to cruise port and easy walk to many restaurants, shopping , pharmacy(s), wine stores and grocery stores. A usual 3 to 3.5 star HI express with free breakfast. Always comfortable with the staff who are great to deal with. Special kudos to Marie on front desk for many helpful tips and dining ideas. Evered on front desk provided calm , professional and helpful assistance. Always appreciate the customer service emphasis of Gloria (GM). Recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay with friendly people. Well done.

Not a bad neighborhood, can walk to many restaurants and some are pretty nice. We had the hotel free shuttle pick us up. the van did not leave the airport until compleatly full. If you've got 10 bucks to spend you might want to take a cab. On cruise day I bought a shuttle pass for both us ($18) which was a mistake. It took an hour to get from pick-up to drop off because shuttle will stop at every ship to drop off. A cab trip would be at most 15 min and perhaps $15-20 bucks. Take a cab. We got there Sat and the place was really busy, had to wait a little for the room to be ready (got there at 2:30) and check in time is posted at 3:00. Pretty clean and bed was nice. I used my HI points so room was $70 a night but normal price is double that or more. Too much money for a HI Express.

Thank you for sharing your experience with others. We are your small "home away from home" 78 rooms hotel... and weekends are always busy with pre/post cruisers... we love it! We normally sell out on Friday nights and fill up again on Saturday nights. This can sometimes cause our clean rooms availability to run close to 3pm which is why our check in time begins at 3pm. Our inhouse guests checkout time is 11am. We try our best to accommodate guests who arrive earlier when we can. If not, we offer to store luggage while you site see the area or grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants that surround us... all within walking distance. When it comes to shuttle to the cruise port, you certainly have options. The inside shuttle service provided by a 3rd party @ $8 per person or we will gladly call a taxi for you with an average charge of $10 per car load. I certainly hope to have the opportunity to have you stay with us again in the near future. Please be sure and say "hello"!

Spent 2 nights here and it was an extremely comfortable Hotel. Room was quite large with all the amenities and the bed was very comfortable. Check in was fantastic with staff member Marie. What a great welcome and she clearly loves her job. Gave us valuable restaurant information and how to get around town on the trolley bus. Kudos to Marie. You can take the hotels shuttle to the cruise terminal for $8.00 per person or catch a cab. Get down to breakfast early on the cruise departure days as the breakfast room is only small and there seemd to be a rush from about 8.30am. Breakfast was great with plenty to eat even though it was a continental breakfast. Lots of excellent restaurants close by and also a liquor store. Great ride on the hop on hop off trolley bus which takes you down to the beach and try and do a tour by water taxi of the fort lauderdale canals. We are Ambasador Gold members and appreciated the gift bag on arrival of water, chocolates, nibblies etc. A nice touch.

Room Tip: Stayed on the 5th floor, not really any views to look at.
