“Will definately return”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2014

This is the best resort we have stayed in FL. The grouds are immaculate, lush and tranquil. Rooms are spotlessly clean. This is a busy efficiently run establishment. Staff are professional and friendly at all times. Rooms are serviced quickly and very well presented. The pool areas get busy at times but you have the choice of 3 pools and 2 hot tubs. Age ranges vary but everyone friendly.
Located a short way from the beach and restaurants are walkable but clubs, major stores and more restaurants are a cab ride away. Our stay was very enjoyable and would highly recommend. We will definately return.

my partner Tom and I just wrapped up a relaxing trip to Ft Lauderdale, and the fine folks at the Worthington were a big part of the reason we enjoyed it so much! the resort is well managed, and beautifully cared for - clean rooms, comfortable beds, lush flora and fauna surrounding the pools, tasty & healthy breakfasts.... i could go on. we look forward to returning!

Room Tip: i suggest staying in the Alcazar bldg, easy access to the pools and hot tubs in Venice and Worthingt...

Well kept resorts which consists of three resort in one. So much opportunities to wander around and get in touch with people at all times of the day. Nice rooms. Different styles in the different resorts. Matter of taste what you like. Solid breakfast, nice little gym. Three big pools and jacuzzis.
Atmosphere on Worthington property more exotic with beautiful landscaping and palm trees. Other two resorts less tropical.

i stayed one night with my partner after arriving from a Caribbean cruise. the front desk was accommodating and super friendly. they held our luggage until the room was ready and right away took us to the pool area under a nice shady spot. towels were aplenty and changing areas too. l like the fact that you can swim naked and sun bathe and no one cares. totally carefree.

but on Saturday at the happy hour there was a group of guys being too frisky and doing frottage on each other. and taking pictures of themselves. my partner was very uncomfortable because of this and he did not like it. and one of them later in the evening tried to grab me as well as I was walking on the hallway on my way out to dinner. kind of a downer. never got in the pool naked after that!

the whole hotel has a wonderful character and it is super clean. and the rooms were comfortable and very quiet actually. I loved the Jacuzzi and the warm pool for swimming. and the location is easy to walk to the beach no problem. I went to the manors for dinner and the front desk hailed me a cab and it was there in minutes.

the next day our flight was at five but we were out of the room at noon. still they held our luggage securely again and made sure we had a cab waiting to the airport. the breakfast was great with pastries and fresh fruit. there was also cereals and yogurts. also there was plenty of fresh juice and gallons of coffee all day long! loved the coffee available all day long.

great place to stay if you do not get bothered by some of the guys freshness. they were just having fun but some guys may find this things a little objectionable. otherwise the place was great and It was a great price for all the benefits. my favorite part of the stay was the personnel at the office and the guys who take care of the property. they were great and made the place look like a little paradise. and I love the coke machines that sell beer! what a great idea!

Room Tip: second floor are my favorites and they are close to everything

We stayed at the Worthington Guest House Jan 7-13, 2014 in a Deluxe King, Rm 124. The room was well appointed and very clean, the staff were great, patio, pool and hot tub area were clean and fun. Many Germans during our stay, fun to see mixed cultures.....The staff were friendly and willing to please.
We only had one problem, that was the noise from the room above us, the guy up there seemed to be an obsessive-compulsive, elephant pacing back and forth and sounded to be constantly moving furniture, the noise from above day and night was terrible. When we stay here next time we will request a room on the upper level!
The continental breakfast every morning was basic but satisfactory.....we missed the Saturday reception as we had gathering with friends in the Fort Lauderdale area that afternoon/evening.
Overall, except for the noise, would have rated the Worthington as excellent, but due the excessive noise from above dropped our rating to only very good (note we reported the excessive noise to the office staff on the second day of our stay and all they did is say, they would speak to guest above us.) If they did it did nothing to alleviate all the noise from above.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms most likely would be quieter, our room 124, had near constant loud noise from abo...

Sorry for the late review. The staff was amazing. Check in was a breeze. The room and the grounds were immaculate. Breakfast in the morning was great and everyone is friendly. Towels were plenty. I am so looking forward to my next trip. It is worth it!!!

My partner and I have visited several times and have always enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to guest's needs. The rooms, pool, and hot tub areas are very clean and well maintained. We will continue to stay when in Ft. Lauderdale.

Room Tip: All rooms are good, however, I would avoid the rooms on the third floor of the Worthington Building...
